Puppaffnia at a Glance

Puppaffnia refers to the state department, diplomatic service, and foreign intelligence operations of Paffnia. Their offices are in a dark basement in the capital city, Skoptopolis. The Deputy Prime Minister of Paffnia runs Puppaffnia's agencies and represents Paffnia abroad. A board of the directors of the various bureaus advises the Deputy Prime Minister; the operations of Puppaffnia tend to be decided by consensus of this group. Paffnia's ambassadors are appointed by the Deputy Prime Minister, with the consent of the Prime Minister, and confirmed by the Senate. Puppaffnia's functionaries are perpetually weary yet doggedly loyal, adhering to a value system they half-jokingly refer to as "Paffnism."
