The Holy Empire of Prusenreich is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm the 8th with an iron fist, and renowned for its rum-swilling pirates, ban on automobiles, and compulsory military service. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 2.18 billion Prussians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Law & Order, Education, and Administration are also considered important, while International Aid is ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Uppland. The average income tax rate is 85.4%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Prusssian economy, worth 319 trillion Reichmarks a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, quite specialized black market in Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, Information Technology, and Door-to-door Insurance Sales. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 146,510 Reichmarks, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Pet owners make sure their dogs wear diapers, interviewees for teaching jobs are waterboarded to "reveal undesirable histories", there's a bright dawn ahead for Prusenreich, and ritual mummification is making a comeback. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Prusenreich's national animal is the Eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution, and its national religion is Reformed Germanic.

Prusenreich is ranked 1,891st in the world and 1st in Holy Prussian empire for Most Advanced Law Enforcement, scoring 12,553.35 on the Orwell Orderliness Index.
