Autocracy

Platinia belongs to Sera entirely, therefore she has full rule over it and no one else. The people that now live there were brought in from another planet out of the kindness of her own heart. Despite this, Sera is committed to give their very best for them to live comfortably.

Devolution

Even though Sera is the absolute ruler of Platinia, she allows the people to govern themselves so that she can focus on her own personal projects. As Platinia consists of small towns of no more than 10,000 each, each one governs itself. Sera will only ever intervene and remove those in power that are either corrupt or jeopardise the natural environment.

State Press

There is no longer any trust in the so-called "free press", simply because of how immoral and corrupt it has become. Often used as a tool of chaos to fuel dissent and false information. People deserve naught but the unfabricated truth on everything going on. The state press ensures that they do.

No Dissent

Public protests not only affect the issue that they are protesting about, but can also have a negative impact on other things, such as the daily lives of other people and public services. if protests are big enough, they can do serious harm to themselves and those around them. If people wish to complain about something in the system, there are systems in place to offer feedback on what needs adding, improving, or removing.

Pledge of Allegiance

Platinia serves its people to the best of its ability, but only if the people work with it to ensure the best for themselves and everyone else. If the people are not loyal, they are a threat to the stability of Platinia.

Society

Marriage Equality

It matters not what race or gender your loved one is. All marriage is treated as equal and protected under Platinia's laws and the state religion.

No Adultery

Loyalty is held in the highest regard within Platinia. This also includes the loyalty among the citizens, as well as loved ones. If someone is caught being disloyal to their own, then their loyalty in general is questioned and will be punished accordingly.

Euthanasia

No one should be forced to live in suffering. Platinia grants it's citizens the ability to end their own life if there is naught that can help them in terms of terminal illness. However it is discouraged when citizens considering euthanasia can still be helped.

Compulsory Organ Harvesting

The body is but a shell for your soul. Upon death, the soul leaves that shell to move on. The body and organs within can be used to further improve research into healthcare to find better vaccines and cures to help improve the living quality of future generations.

AI Personhood

Any being that is self-aware, even if artificial, has a right to live a life like all other living beings.

Vegetarianism

Platinia has a tough stance on the wellbeing of animals. The consumption of meat, while not outlawed, is extremely regulated to the point where it is only acquired by hunting, which even then is strictly regulated and also extremely dangerous due to the other predatory wildlife which hunters are forbidden from harming. Livestock farms are non-existent.

Parental Licensing

Many children in the world have been subject to bad, neglectful, and even abusive parents. When parents bring a child into the world, those parents have a responsibility to ensure that the child is brought up in the best way possible. This policy protects the children and makes sure that parents are ready and committed to their upbringing into society.

Neglect in this area has proven to carry consequences such as unexpected pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. Providing mandatory sex education makes sure that all citizens are aware of these dangers.

No Smoking

Platinia maintains a strong stance against smoking to the point of it becoming criminalised. The dangers of smoking far outweigh any benefits.

No Zoos

No life should have to live purely for the entertainment of others. Platinia bans any form of animal containment with the exception of household pets, which is heavily regulated to ensure that the pet is treated as family and given enough care and freedom to live a happy life with their owners.

Law & Order

Capital Punishment

Serious crimes that permanently damage the life of another citizen are given the death penalty. Examples of these are rape, murder, and pedophilia. Criminals who commit these acts are beyond redemption and Platinia refuses to waste valuable resources on their upkeep when it can go to the improvement of those who follow the law.

DNA Harvesting

The use of DNA provides a huge step in medical research. Not only does it help with looking for new cures for anyone with existing illnesses, but it can also assist with nullifying illnesses that an individual is born with that could eventually grow life threatening.

ID Chips

Every citizen is given a nano-chip from birth. The main purpose for these chips is to provide live and detailed information on the individual’s health, enabling immediate action to be taken should any anomalies within the individual arise. The chip also acts as tracking in the event of the individual is reported as missing within or outside Platinia.

Economy

Socialism

Corporate greed has no place within Platinia. All industries are owned by the state in order to act in the best interests in the population and to prevent private companies from exploiting them for profit. All products and services are strictly regulated to ensure that the population receives the best. Any profit that is made is split to go straight to the industry’s research and development of more advanced products, services, and public infrastructure. Capitalism is permitted but only to individuals for the cultural industry.

AI Planning

Highly advanced systems are placed to keep an eye on Platinia’s economics, ensuring that nothing goes to waste as well as making minor adjustments should any department need a small boost to help it continue running smoothly. Major adjustments are flagged and checked before passing however.

Maternity Leave

The future of Platinia’s children is held in high regard. Mothers are given free time away from work to ensure that their newborn are well developed and looked after before beginning education.

Universal Health Care

Platinia has a free universal public health system paid largely from taxation. The entire population has equal access to health care services. Along with this, DNA harvesting, and chipping, Platinia has one of the highest life expectancy rates ever seen.

Cannabis

While Platinia has a very strict stance on drugs, cannabis is the only drug that is allowed for both medical and recreational reasons. Cannabis however cannot be smoked due to Platinia’s no smoking policy, therefore it is taken via oral ingestion or sublingual.

Autarky

Economic self-sufficiency is considered essential to Platinia and has been practiced since its founding. Platinia does not import or export any of its own products or services, and has an industry for almost every product and service available.

No Gambling

Much like most drugs, gambling can be highly addictive and can also be used by others as a means to prey on those who lack the willpower to keep themselves from it. For these reasons, Platinia does not tolerate gambling of any form.

No Nuclear Power

Platinia uses the natural magic that the land creates to power the large scale infrastructure, rendering nuclear energy completely obsolete. The stance on nuclear energy is also negative due to the waste it produces.

Space Program

Platinia has an extremely far reaching space project which is personally overseen by Sera. The automated spacecraft that are utilised are fully capable of travelling across the entire galaxy, either locating and claiming uninhabited lush green planets teeming with life, or using terraforming systems on suitable planets and converting them into such.

Metricism

The tried and true metric system of measurement is the only type used by Platinia. All others measurement systems are considered obsolete and are therefore archived as history.
