The Almighty Republic of Patec commonly called Patec, is a Representative Democracy in Citreon. It is not bordered by a state recognized by the government. It’s closest neighbor is Meercovo about 200 miles northeast. Patec covers 432,237 square miles and has has an estimated population of 561 Million. Patec comprises of 18 Prefectures.

Patec is home to Citroen's largest growing and one of its most advanced aerospace industries, the nation is known for its aggressive yet diplomacy driven politics on the global stage. It is also the home of Sonopu Dogyo, voted best Citreon leader across both regions (Citreon/TOO) and is the Founder and President of Citreon. Politicians out of Patec have been the driving force behind some of the most progressive (simply meaning actual progress not a political stance) policies and systems brought to Citreon, most notably being the Snoop System 1.0 of TOO and the Snoop System 2.0 of Citreon

Etymology

The Nation uses the English translation of the capitol city Patekku, which comes from the indigenous name for the area "Padqu" meaning "The Peoples Home" to refer to the broader nation as the Nation and Capitol City use the same name. English: Patec is reserved for the nation where Japo-Patecian: Patekku is reserved for the Capitol.

The standard way to refer to a citizen of NATION is as a "Patecian" in English or a Patekku-Jin in Pato-Japanese

History

Modern Day Patec was formed out of a rebellion against the Old Patecian Empire. The then capitol, Tyosaka was left burnt and in shambles after weeks of riots in 1828 finally hit their climax. the riots were casued by extreme discrimination based predominatly on clan and the terrible living conditions of the non ruling class. The Last Emperor, Fujīn Matsu, of the Imperial Fujīn clan declared rioters and their clans traitors on December 22, 1828 as he fled to Saint Koto on Shukojima (Shuko island) to the public this was a declaration of war by the Emperor on his own people. Lower class clans made up a majority of the Empires forces, the inclusion of rioters clans in the Emperors decision to label them terrorists brought shame on soldiers by higher ranking clans which casued them to take up arms but in defense of their clans who had be labeled terrorists by the crown. With his forces split, not in his favor, Emperor Matsu is captured. He is promised his life if he surrenders which he did, however the lower class clans still beheaded him in Patekku where they would move the capitol in honor of the termination of the emperor, and found a new government elected by the people for the people in its place, The Almighty Republic of Patec was born on February 7th, 1830

Geography

Patec is a mix of mountainous and and relatively flat land. the Eastern part of the country is extremely rugged and is defined by the Patekami Mountain range. the terrain becomes more manageable as you move West to the coast.

Tropical rain forests in Patecs north fade into Savannah's as the Patekami MT.range to the east blocks more moisture from west word winds. Patecs south can be considered a desert though not in any terms deprived of life. The weather is hot all year round being centered just below the planets equator. the North receives far more rain then the south due to the Patekami Mt. range temperatures average to about 95 degrees F in the dry season and 87 degrees F inn the wet season. Patec does not have a winter.

Population
The Patecian population is kept under constant monitoring. To ensure resources can meet current needs couples are encouraged to adopt or if conceiving to max at 2 to keep the population at a steady rate. These are delivered as suggestions and no law enforces them however many Patecians still follow the policy. It is bicameral, consisting of two houses with the House of Councilors being the upper house, and the House of Representatives being the lower house. Its members are directly elected by the people, who are the source of sovereignty. It is defined as the supreme organ of almighty sovereignty in the Constitution. The Court Superior and other inferior courts make up the Judicial column and have all the judicial powers in the state. It has ultimate judicial authority to interpret the Patecian constitution and the power of judicial review. They are independent from the executive and the legislative columns. Judges are nominated or appointed by the Chief Ministry and never removed by the executive or the legislature except during impeachment.
