Air Superiority
The Air Superiority part of the Air Force is made up of mostly fighters and reconnaissance planes, it contains about 43% of the Air Force. A normal pilot has to train from 5-6 months in training planes before using military planes for about 1-1.5 years. After a pilot goes through training they must complete a eligibility test every 3-5 years to determine if they are still fit to be flying.
Assault
The Assault part of the Air Force contains bombers, close air support, and attack planes, the branch holds 36% of the Air Force. A Assault pilot has a few choices when join the branch, there is the choice of small or large training, in large training a pilot must train with a team while a small training is very similar to the Air Superiority training. The large training has a pilot get assigned to a team that they will live with for about 2 months before training begins, during this time they are told to bond and be able to trust each other. After this stage they are each assigned roles based on their test scores and will start training with training crafts for about 7-8 months. After training with the training craft they are moved to training in military planes for another 1-2 years before being cleared with their team.
Special
The Special side contains 21% of the soldiers in the Air Force, it contains Cargo, Transport, Prototype, and Unmanned aircraft. There are two ways a pilot can end up in the Special side of the Air Force, invitation or training. When a Prototype aircraft is created a skilled pilot is selected to test it as said crafts, this selection can also happen when a modification is made to an existing plane and needs to be tested. The other way is training, this is used for piloting the larger cargo/transport crafts and the unique unmanned aircraft. Training time for the larger craft are identical to the Assault large training while the unmanned training can vary depending on the craft but average at around 6-12 months.
