Basics of the Arts -

The Arts are similar to what people used to call magic, a user gains the Arts when fusing with a spirit, depending on the type of spirit and its power the person develop features of the spirit. Examples of this are Fehkin's animalistic ears and tail and Johpiel's wings. The spirits also enable the user to gain the ability to form Arts using their desire, this process of developing a affinity for specific branch's of the Arts can take from days to months and some individuals gain a large affinity for multiple branches. Once a user has complete their development they will notice the changing of their physical structure if the spirit is powerful enough, this process can be excruciatingly painful as these will form very quickly leaving little time for the rest of the body to adjust. Once both of these processes have completed a user will be able channel the arts. Arts have been primarily reported in females with limited cases in men.

Forms of Arts -


The branch a user gains when fusing with a spirit can generally be classified into categories and subcategories, these categories are used to rank how common a users Art is and its subcategory classifies the area their Art specializes in.

These Arts are found in many people and are normally not very powerful, as such the subcategories are very broad. Subcategories are:
  • Attack - These Arts are based around the user gain offensive abilities. (e.g. Armaments, Direct Attacks, Negative Effects)

  • Defense - These Arts are based around the user either defensing themselves or others. (e.g. Barriers, Armors, Walls)

  • Assistance Based - These Arts are simple and assist the user with daily task / jobs. (e.g. Boosters)

These Arts are infrequent and can be decently powerful. Subcategories are:
  • Architectural - Users Arts are specialized around construction and assist the user in designing and building.

  • Emotional Manipulation - Users are able to directly manipulation the emotions of a target.

  • Healing - These users are extremely important being able to heal any injury in seconds and some can even revive a target who recently died.

  • Matter Manipulation - Users are able to change the states matter.

  • Mental Manipulation - Users are able to change a targets memories.

  • Summoning - Users are able to summon beasts that they have subdued, some are able to create their beasts from their power.

  • Stealth - Users are able to use their power to improve their sneaking capabilities.

  • Telekinesis - Users can either lift themselves or other things with their mind / will.

These Arts are normally only held by a dozen at most and can be extremely powerful. Subcategories are:
  • Creation - Users are able to form anything that they know how to create using any materials.

  • Cyber - Users are able to interact directly with data and manipulate it.

  • Cosmic - Users power is based off of cosmic signs / divination.

  • Demonic - Users are able to summon a Devil for powers.

  • Divine - Users are able to summon an Angel for powers.

  • Dream - Users are able to manipulate a targets dream, some have the ability to make events in the dream effect the real person.

  • Fusion / Fission - Users have the ability to either fuse and/or divide atoms at the subatomic level

  • Teleportation - Users can instantly travel to any location that they have been before

These Arts are only known to be held by one person and are some of the most powerful individuals. Subcategories are:
  • Divine-Demonic - Users are able to call upon any Angel or Devil to carry out their desires.

  • Omni-Art - Users posses every Art.

  • Reality - Users can directly manipulate reality itself.

  • Time - Users are able to manipulate the flow of time


Mutations -


During an Arts users fusion it is possible for mutations to occur, as Arts users are already rare mutations are extremely uncommon. The two most common types of mutation is corruption and dormant which due to the immense power flowing into the user often lead to permanent damage or death. Some other forms of mutation include, half spirit, multi-spirit , second fusion, and the Ritual of NNNNNNNNN. It is possible for a individual to experience multiple mutations during a fusion. Artificial spirits are also classified as mutations.

Artificial Spirits -


The development of artificial spirits have allowed for massive expansions of the Arts. However the downside to artificial spirits is their specialization in a single branch and the inability to gain any type of affinity. Artificial Spirits always cause the user to develop the animalistic features. Some individuals have been able to receive multiple artificial spirits, however while this allows them to use multiple branches it also significantly weakens their power. It is also possible for Arts users with artificial spirits to gain a real spirit which can cause the artificial spirit to be absorbed or user death.

Corruption -


When a Art's user is undergoing fusion there is a chance they will corrupt, this causes the spirit to incorrectly fuse leading to broken features and significantly reduced lifespan. Corrupted users are not able to manage their output of the Art's leading to them being able to perform significantly more powerful attacks but at a risk of self-harm or death.

Multi-Spirit / Half-Spirit -


A extremely uncommon mutation is when an Art's user either receives multiple spirits during a fusion leading to mixed features along with a extremely high chance of overloading the user. There are two types of multi-spirits users, some are able to control their spirits together while others suppress extra spirits until necessary. It is also possible for a user to only receive half a spirit leading to their power being extremely diminished and depending on the spirits power may be unable to successfully manifest.

Dormant -


This is the most common mutation which can even occur in non-Arts users. As certain Arts users are able to sense spirits inside of people it is common to find spirits lying dormant is normal people and occasionally Arts users are found with an active spirit while another lies dormant. It is possible for dormant spirits to suddenly awake and has been observed to frequently happen when an individual is in extremely desperate situations.

Second Fusion & The Ritual of NNNNNNNNN -

When a second fusion occurs the spirits that a user already contain will fully manifest themselves and the higher spirits will begin fusing with lower spirits. As this process begins a large light will be present and the user will be possessed by the highest spirit, this process takes about 30 minutes - 1 hour. The Ritual of NNNNNNNNN is a process that occurs after a individual has gone through their second fusion which requires specific conditions, when these conditions are met The Ritual of NNNNNNNNN begins. Once The Ritual of NNNNNNNNN begins a light will shine above the individual causing all living beings in the area seemingly disappear. As this process begins the higher spirits will fully manifest and the the individual will be possessed by godly spirits which will begin to absorb the lower spirits, due to this influx of power they may die. If this process is allowed to fully complete the individual will complete The Ritual of NNNNNNNNN and receive the godly spirits powers.
