Incident Report: Rise Of The Falling Sun

Day 1
On NN/NN/NNNN a bright light appeared above Bridpicbool. First reactions were that an nuclear weapon had been air-burst above the town but radar detections proved the theory false. The light continued to spread in the sky soon being bright enough to be seen from Panaderncia over 3000 kilometers away, this caused numerous agencies to be put on high alert and neighboring countries to begin demanding an explanation. Around 3 hours after the light was first reported the sun began to rise, however the entire town of Bridpicbool was engulfed with the light which dissipated once the sun had fully rose. Emergency response teams rushed to the town to find it completely abandoned, many reports stated that a strange heat resonated from the town and a very low reading of radiation was detected. A figure was reported multiple times with 6 halos, 10 fox tails, and an unconfirmed amount of wings, but no contact was established with the entity on the first day.

Day 2 - Incident 1a
On the second night the light returned this time significantly dimmer than before, all relief crews were ordered to leave the area. Two crews were unable to follow through with this order due to unknown reasons and were never found after the light dispersed the next day. This day the first incident with the figure occurred when NNNNNNN Coleman observed the figure and opened fire on it. Coleman's team reported that after firing both the figure and Coleman disappeared. The next 60 seconds differentiate from each team member leading to an inconclusive investigation. The medic of the team reported that directly after Coleman vanished he was bombarded with subliminal images from around the world where people were being slaughtered by similar figures, he reported that he saw himself in one of the images. The communication officer refused to speak about what he saw and attempts to gain access to the memories using other means caused brain function to drop dangerously leading to all attempts being halted. The commander of the team would have primitive like rage if asked about the incident leading to him being restrained and sedated to be able to gain information. He described that as soon as Coleman disappeared he also was taken, describing himself being put through thousands of years in an unknown place where he struggled with starvation, torture, and having his memories directly tampered with. He added that no matter how much his body was damaged he wouldn't die and whenever he would reawake he would have fully recovered. After and unknown amount of time he was sent back to the exact moment he was once Coleman disappeared. The final member, the basic infantryman Coleman was never recovered and henceforth is presumed dead. All members of the team have now committed suicide.

Day 3 - Incident 1b
The light appeared again however it was even dimmer than the previous night, some theorists believed it was a timer leading to some panic on what would happen once it fully disappeared. A radiological team who was sent to the center of town detected an inconsistent radiological readings from 0 - 50,000, the max on the reader coming from a single location. The team sent this report in before all contact with them was lost. They were "recovered" approximately a half an hour earlier in the medical hospitals among the few injured with severe psychological trauma and each missing large quantities of skin and muscle. Many experiments were tested on the victims and numerous studies in the area revealed that time would suddenly and violent warp backward causing severe injury. Another team was sent to the town center confirming the radiological reports but also reporting that the readings maxed underneath the town statue along with the dog-tags of Coleman being found around the neck of the statue. All operation halted temporarily due to the sun setting.
