The Borderlands of Okopipi is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by Keroro with an iron fist, and notable for its enslaved workforce, multi-spousal wedding ceremonies, and feral children. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, humorless population of 2.696 billion Okopipians are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

The relatively small, corrupt, well-organized government is primarily concerned with Defense, although Industry is also considered important, while Welfare and Education aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Bridgeport. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 14.3%.

The frighteningly efficient Okopipian economy, worth 458 trillion Golds a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Gambling, Retail, and Uranium Mining. Black market activity is rampant. Average income is an impressive 170,062 Golds, but there is an enormous disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 1,010,406 per year while the poor average 13,142, a ratio of 76.9 to 1.

Unsolved crimes are often pinned on veterans with PTSD, dreams of replicator technology have been dashed following a ban on 3D printers, armoured pyjamas are in fashion amongst the nation's nobility, and warfare increasingly resembles a video game. Crime, especially youth-related, is all-pervasive, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Okopipi's national animal is the Frog, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is Piracy.

Okopipi is ranked 265,245th in the world and 24th in Eladen for Most Scientifically Advanced, scoring -82.53 on the Kurzweil Singularity Index.
