The Chamber of Deputies is a federal legislative body and the lower house of the Wagain Parliament. The Chamber comprises 957 deputies, who are elected by proportional representation to serve four-year terms. The current President of the Chamber is the deputy Marcos Rodriguez (PWT, Yaque Valley), who was promoted to that position in May of 2018 after the previous officeholder, Fradique Barrachina (PWT, Babilônia-Camerino), became Prime Minister. Deputies, who are formally styled The Honourable, meet in the Imperial City neighborhood of Santa Catalina, in the west wing of the Halls of Parliament.

Seats in the Chamber of Deputies are distributed roughly in proportion to the population of each province and territory. As a general rule, deputies represent smaller constituencies within the provinces and territories of Wagondia. Deputies from provinces with fewer than two seats are elected at-large (every province, however small, is entitled to at least one representative). All but six of the deputies represent federated provinces of Wagondia, with the remaining seats distributed between the voting territories of Macau, Curaçao, Aruba, Guam, the Virgin Islands, and the Wagain East Indies. The seven remaining territories, by virtue of their low population, may send representatives to the Chamber, though they are not permitted to vote.

The Chamber of Deputies was established in 1826, following the foundation of Wagondia through the Congress of Panama, and was modelled on the British House of Commons. The government of the day and by extension the Prime Minister must achieve and maintain the support, or "confidence" of the Chamber in order to gain and remain in power. The current ruling coalition, and thus the party of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, is the left-leaning Gran Alianza Liberal, whose constituent parties together maintain a 493-seat majority over the right-leaning Alianza Conservadora.
