How the Government Works - The Minister's Chamber

Major Seats in Government:

Head Minister - Toby Renfro: The Head Minister is the executive authority of the government, responsible largely for overseeing approvals/denials on national referendums and legislation. The Head Minister is the highest authority of the land, and corresponds directly with the Office of Defense, as well as loosely oversees the Lower Offices. They may only serve up to two terms of five years each, and must be elected by majority popular vote.

Left Minister - Arnav Konjetti: The Left Minister is granted authority through the HM to oversee the finance and economy of the country. Responsibilities include oversight of the National Bank (NBI), the Office of Trade and Commerce, the Office of Energy, and all of their devolving levels of management. Serves up to two terms of five years each, and must be elected by majority popular vote.

Right Minister - Ashley Hyatt: The Right Minister is granted authority through the HM to oversee the matters of Government relations and internal affairs, mainly revolved around cooperation with the Office of Delegation and the Office of Justice. The RM once took personal responsibility to act as the Foreign Delegate of the country, but with the formation of the Office of Delegation their duties as a delegate now mainly revolve around regional matters. Serves up to two terms of five years each, and must be elected by majority popular vote.

Should the Head Minister Die, their chosen successor shall be reappointed as Head Minister for the remainder of the Head Minister's term, and a special election shall be held to appoint a new Right/Left Minister. The chosen successor is known only to LM, RM, the Officers of Defense and Delegation, and the head of the National Security. If there are more than two years remaining of the HM's term at the time of death, this will count as a full term for the replacement. If there are two years or less remaining of the term, it will not count as a full term and the new HM may still be elected for an additional 2 terms.

Should the Left or Right Minister Die, the Head Minister may propose a replacement if they so wish. If the Head Minister makes a proposal within one week of the death, a national referendum will be held to decide if the replacement shall be appointed. If the Head Minister does not propose a replacement, OR fails to make their proposal within the allotted time, OR the replacement does not receive a majority yes votes in the referendum, then a special election will be held.
