Preamble


We, the people of the Far East, sovereign and free, imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to build a federation of unity and camaraderie, and establish a society encouraging like-minded solidarity for peace, progress, and prosperity, do hereby ordain and promulgate this Federal Constitution.

Article I: Declaration of the Far East Oriental Federation


Section 1. The name of this frontier shall be Far East Oriental Federation, hereafter referred to as the Far East Frontier, and will use the acronym FEOF.

Section 2. FEOF serves as a beacon of unity amongst peoples towards progress and prosperity, guides member-states to establish a society of harmony, equality, and cooperation, and develops the wellbeing of the peoples in member-states.

Section 3. All power of the Far East Oriental Federation belongs to the people of member-states.

Article II: General Principles


Section 1. The Federation upholds the idea of Taegeuk, the principle of which all peoples of the Federation are one under a civil community of harmony.

Section 2. The maintenance of peace and order, promotion of welfare, and development of all member-states are essential to the growth of the peoples of the Federation.

Section 3. An independent foreign policy shall be pursued by the Federation. The peoples' sovereignty, integrity, and federal interest must be given top priority in diplomacy with other regions.

Section 4. The Federation safeguards the idea of equality for all member-states, promotes the fields of science, technology, culture and the arts, and protects the individual freedom of member-states.

Section 5. The Federation shall develop quality public education for the youth to prosper and to develop scientific advancement to member-states.

Section 6. The Federation adopts a policy of full public disclosure and transparency of all its transactions affecting public interest.

Section 7. The Federation shall maintain honesty and integrity in public service and aims to stomp out corruption and crime within member-states.

Section 8. The Federation shall respect the rights of member-states.

Article III: Bill of Rights


Section 1. A nation-state of the Federation has the right to free speech, unless if the nation-state has uttered something hateful, offensive, and discriminatory towards a fellow nation-state.

Section 2. A nation-state of the Federation has the right to security, fair trial, and justice against derogatory comments and actions from another nation-state of the Federation.

Section 3. A nation-state of the Federation has the right to privacy in communications.

Section 4. A nation-state of the Federation has the right to public information and transparency of the Federal government.

Section 5. A nation-state of the Federation has the right to exercise their own ideology that promotes peace, progress, prosperity, and equality alongside with the Taeguk ideology.

Section 6. A nation-state of the Federation has the right of liberty to make their own decisions and policies at the national level.

Section 7. A nation-state of the Federation has the right to obtain benefits and exercise the rights provided by the Federation, unless if deprived of liberty.

Article IV: Membership


Section 1. As a frontier, new nations are allowed to be found in the Federation.

Section 2. Transferring nations from alien regions are allowed to apply for regional membership in the Federation, renouncing their allegiance to their former region.

Section 3. Member-states are obliged to follow regional rules.

Section 4. Member-states are encouraged to support the Council of the Far East and the Security Council of FEOF.

Section 5. Federal membership may be lost or reacquired in legal measures specified.

Article V: The Council of the Far East


Section 1. The Council of the Far East is the sole executive, legislative, and judicial branch of the Far East Oriental Federation and shall be hereafter commonly referred to as The Council.

Section 2. The Council creates and promulgates laws and ordinances, handles political matters within and outside the Federation, and aims to promote unity under a democratic society and the values of the Federation.

Section 3. The Council is composed of:
a.) Founding Member-states
b.) WA Delegate
c.) Group of Ministers

Section 4. The Founding Member-states reserve the absolute political and ceremonial power in order to maintain security and stability within the Council. They cannot be replaced by any means. They represent as the head of state.

Section 5a. The WA Delegate represents as the head of the Federal government, and holds the executive power of the Council. They are elected by the people of the Federation.

Section 5b. In order to be proclaimed as such, the candidate nation must have the highest number of endorsements. However, if two or more candidates have the highest and equal number of endorsements, the position shall be decided by the Founding Member-states.

Section 5c. Before entering office, the WA Delegate shall take the following public oath of affirmation to be held in the RMB section of the Federation:

"I, [state nation name], do solemnly swear to the people of the Federation, that I will fulfill my duties as the elected Delegate of the Far East Oriental Federation with all my mind and soul, abide by the Constitution, and faithfully serve the people. So help me God."

Section 6. The Group of Ministers of the Council each hold executive powers in their specified ministry (i.e.: Education and Culture, Communications, Information, Federal Security). Ministers are appointed by the Founding Member-states or elected by the member-states.

Section 7. All members of The Council shall hold power and office after their said proclamation and vesting of powers.

Section 8. A member-state of the Far East Oriental Federation can run for a position in the Council if the member-state:
a.) has lived in the Federation for 30 consecutive days;
b.) has obtained the Approval for Candidacy appointed by the Founding Member-states of the Federation; and
c.) has no criminal record (either mute, kick, or ban) in the Federation.

Section 9. Should The Council observe a state of crisis or go haywire, the Founding Member-states can call for an annulment of powers to other Council members and declare a transitional period of absolute rule until further decisions will be announced.

Article VI: Federal Patriotism and Security


Section 1. The banner of the Far East Oriental Federation shall be white, blue, and yellow, with the symbol of Federal Taeguk embroidered at the center and twelve yellow stars.

Section 2. The Council of the Far East may adopt a new flag, federal anthem, or federal seal as long as it shall be approved by the Founding Member-states and reflects the symbolism of the Federation's ideals, culture, and traditions.

Section 3. The symbols of the Far East Oriental Federation shall be consecrated and honored by the people of the Federation and must not be used in any demeaning way.

Section 4. The Council reserves the right to remove potential member-states and ban alien nations from federal entry that are seen as a threat to federal security.

Article VII: Amendments, Revisions, and Ratification


Section 1. Amendments or revisions of the Federal Constitution may be proposed by:
a.) the Council of the Far East, upon a vote of one-third of all its members;
b.) the Founding Member-states; or
c.) by the Member-states of the Federation, via a petition of at least one-fourth of members.

Section 2. The amendments, revisions, and establishment of the Federal Constitution require:
a.) the approval of the Founding Member-states of the Federation; and
b.) 60% majority of the votes cast by the members of the Council. If it ever fails to achieve the required amount of votes, it will be reviewed and voted on again until it meets such criteria.

Section 3. The Constitution shall serve as the guiding basis for making new laws and declarations by the Council of the Far East.

Section 4. The Constitution shall take effect immediately upon ratification and shall supersede all previous Constitutions.

Whereof We, The First Council of the Far East Oriental Federation, on the 10th day of June, FEOF Year 00 (2023), have hereunto signed our Names, approving the written Constitution:
