The Slave Land on the Other Side of My Cellar Door is a gargantuan, orderly nation, ruled by Slave Driver and Keeper of Cellar Keys with an iron fist, and notable for its compulsory military service, avowedly heterosexual populace, and complete lack of public education. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, humorless population of 35.052 billion My Cellar Doorians are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The tiny, corrupt, moralistic, pro-business, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Law & Order is also considered important, while Environment and Social Policy are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of the Cellar. Income tax is unheard of.

The very strong My Cellar Doorian economy, worth a remarkable 9,319 trillion door knobs a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Information Technology, and Automobile Manufacturing. Average income is an amazing 265,880 door knobs, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 2,475,630 per year while the poor average 2,579, a ratio of 959 to 1.

Organised sports are frowned upon as frivolous, the streets are increasingly clogged with poverty-stricken beggars, senior citizens can usually be found doing heavy manual labour, and citizens are enjoying a recent large cut in taxes. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force. My Cellar Door's national animal is the Slave in the Cellar, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is Slavery.

My Cellar Door is ranked 6,391st in the world and 344th in Lazarus for Lowest Crime Rates, with 104.92 law-abiding acts per hour.
