The Democratic Republic of Kya Hoga is a huge, safe nation, remarkable for its anti-smoking policies, enslaved workforce, and restrictive gun laws. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 808 million Kya Hogans are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The enormous, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Secret Underground Base. The average income tax rate is 73.2%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but inefficient Kya Hogan economy, worth 44.1 trillion tirus a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, quite specialized black market in Information Technology, Uranium Mining, Arms Manufacturing, and Door-to-door Insurance Sales. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 54,634 tirus, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.2 times as much as the poorest.

People talk about things being better when men were men, children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces, the government is proud to report that ten percent of all tax revenue goes to funding suspected terrorist organizations, and theatre may or may not be changing for the better but it is being changed for good. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kya Hoga's national animal is the crocodile, which can occasionally be seen avoiding garbage in the nation's murky oceans.

Kya Hoga is ranked 211,358th in the world and 487th in The Free Nations Region for Nudest, with 11.25 Cheeks Per Square Mile.
