The Utopian Democracy of Korean Proletarians is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by the Supreme Leader with an iron fist, and notable for its frequent executions, compulsory military service, and ubiquitous missile silos. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 9.526 billion Koreans are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The enormous, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Pyongyang. The average income tax rate is 80.8%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The large but underdeveloped Korean economy, worth 377 trillion Won a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is quite specialized, is led by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Woodchip Exports, and Beef-Based Agriculture. Average income is 39,672 Won, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Tabloids coo over The Supreme Leader's expected child, in government offices a hidden killer takes the lives of ministers and civil servants, the nation's most "productive" diamond mine hasn't been operational for seven months, and historic buildings are being demolished to allow for road-widening in the city centre. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Korean Proletarians's national animal is the Water Deer, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Kimism.

Korean Proletarians is ranked 178,445th in the world and 18th in Reality for Most Cheerful Citizens, with 47.09 Percentage Of Water Glasses Perceived Half-Full.
