The Nomadic Peoples of Kiu Ghesik is a very large, cultured nation, renowned for its museums and concert halls, pith helmet sales, and punitive income tax rates. The compassionate, cynical, devout population of 105 million Ghesites are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The large, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Spirituality, Defense, and Welfare. The average income tax rate is 53.3%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but sluggish Ghesite economy, worth 2.93 trillion pressed notes a year, is quite specialized and led by the Basket Weaving industry, with significant contributions from Retail, Cheese Exports, and Book Publishing. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 27,897 pressed notes, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Tourists need only sign on the dotted line to become citizens, the new national campaign exhorts men to "Show Some Class - Don't Sit On Your Ass", paranoid museum guards keep a lookout for any animated displays attempting to escape the premises after dark, and census workers struggle to account for the rapidly increasing number of citizens to tabulate. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kiu Ghesik's national animal is the horse, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Kiu Ghesik is ranked 113,068th in the world and 944th in 10000 Islands for Nudest, with 117.75 Cheeks Per Square Mile.
