The Fake World Wonderland of Kinoko is a colossal, efficient nation, ruled by Flower Girl with an iron fist, and notable for its soft-spoken computers, complete lack of prisons, and devotion to social welfare. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 9.357 billion Kinokoans are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The large, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Education, and Environment. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Eureka. The average income tax rate is 98.3%.

The frighteningly efficient Kinokoan economy, worth a remarkable 2,104 trillion Hanatabas a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is quite specialized, is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Tourism, and Book Publishing. Average income is an amazing 224,869 Hanatabas, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Government theft from poor artists to give to rich allies has been dubbed the "reverse Robin Hood" policy, vast amounts of energy are expended moving water to hilltop lakes, citizens know never to accept cookies from strangers, and high-tech infantry rifles automatically reload when the soldier shoots outside the screen of their helmet HUD. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kinoko's national animal is the Mushroom, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Hakkaism.

Kinoko is ranked 34,450th in the world and 17th in Anteria for Largest Populations, with 9.36 billion Capita.
