The Royal Katinean Defence Forces are the Armed Forces of the Sovereign Kingdom of Katinea. Formed in 1932 as a Replacment for the Former Katinean Armed Forces, They are one of the Largest and Most Advanced Militaries in the World. They Operate a mix of Older Soviet and Russian Equipment, and More Modern Western Equipment. The headquarters of the Defence Forces is the Delta in Slottsberget. The Maritime, Air and Ground Defence Forces, or the "War Services", Are under the Command of the Ministry of Defence, where as the Coast Guard and Gendarmerie are under the Ministry of National Security in Peacetime.

Royal Katinean Air Defence Force (Kungliga Katinska luftvärnsstyrkan)

The Royal Katinean Air Defence Force is the Aviation Branch of the RKDF. They operate a Wide range of Aircraft, Including Fighters, Bombers and Transports. The RKADF was Founded in September 1942, when it became Independent from the Ground Defence Force, Where it was Known As the Royal Katinean Defence Air Forces. It succeded the Army Air Force of the former Kingdom of Katinea and Republic of Katinea, which was founded in 1911, and was Dissolved in 1924. The Air Defence is the Newest and Most Funded Branch if the Defence Forces, as Katinean Military Doctrine Heavily focuses on Aerial Warfare and Support. The Air Defence Force also Maintains its own Infantry Force, The Air Defence Security Corps, Who are responsible for Guarding ADF Bases and Aircraft, aswell as Providing Support for Ground Defence Force Soldiers and Acting as JTACS. The Air Defence Force also has its own Branch of KATSOFCOM, Known as ADFSOFCOM. Within ADFSOFCOM are the Multiple Squadrons, Mainly Operating MC-130, AC-130, HC-130 and Helicopter Aircraft, for Supporting GDFSOFCOM and MDFSOFCOM Forces, aswell as the 29th Special Tactics Brigade, a Division of Highly Trained Soldiers trained in Airborne insertion and Stealth, the Pararescue Brigade, Highly Trained Medics and Operators who specialise in Combat Search and Rescue, Pararescue, and Combat Medical Care. Finally, there is the Special Security Platoon, a Highly Classified Division of ADFSOFCOM, Who are Tasked with protecting Nuclear Launch Sites, and Protecting sites which store or transport Standoff Weapons.
