Worst Result: 19th: WV37

Izmedu first debuted in the WorldVision Song Contest at the 34th edition in Thatcher City, Mister X. The contest is broadcast by the Radio-televizija Izmedu, which initially used an internal selection format for earlier entries but now primarily uses a national final, Izmepisma, to select the Izmeduan entries. Izmedu has missed two contests, WV47 and WV62, and has won the contest three times, along with placing within the top 10 in thirty-three occasions and the top 3 for sixteen contests.

Izmedu debuted with Anthony Bernardini's adult contemporary ballad "Until the End," which garnered the nation a 16th place finish. Zlatica, in WorldVision 36, would bring Izmedu's first top 10 finish with her song "Run Free," scoring 89 points. In WorldVision 38, Jolana Perko & Arijana Kovac with "Illusion" secured Izmedu's first win and best result in a very close WorldVision finish that ended in a tie that would favor Izmedu. Since then, Izmedu has consistently finished within the top 10 until this streak would be broken in WorldVision 41, where Koraljka Franic with "Memory" would place 15th, Izmedu's lowest result since WorldVision 37. Terezija Novak and "Beautiful Chaos" in WorldVision 42 managed to attain a 4th place in Normandy and Picardy, bringing Izmedu into the top 5 for a second time. The continued fortune from WorldVision 42 would continue onto WorldVision 43, where Poslie Postojanje placed 2nd in the contest, the best result since Izmedu's WorldVision win and the third top 5 result overall. NemaMinorca & Konstanca Vrebac would continue the string of recent Izmeduan success by scoring a second consecutive 2nd in Yaru-Bzheriut, Talvezout.

Following budgetary problems after Nebaizva scored a respectable but somewhat tepid 12th at WorldVision 46, RTI was forced to withdraw the nation from WorldVision 47 while the entry was being rehearsed in Carnise. This occurred despite a successful appearance by Leopolda at the Junterapten pre-party in Britonisea. The sudden withdrawal so late into the process caused RTI to go into further debts that were accrued from a wildly expanding budget post-WV42. However, RTI returned to the contest for WorldVision 48 with Ivana Jeroncic's "Confessions," and staged a successful comeback with the first Top 5 finish since WorldVision 44, placing 4th in a field of 34 entries.

Izmedu, since its debut, has chosen the entry via internal selection, though the mechanisms of the internal selection differ each edition. In Izmedu's initial WorldVision participations, the entrants were chosen via music industry connections and/or talent scouting, in the case of 37. Later WorldVisions allowed the musicians in the industry or outside to submit songs for WorldVision consideration, which would lead to the channel looking at the list of singers and selecting an artist from there. Starting in WorldVision 51, RTI began to pilot a national final called "Izmepisma" following editions of fan demand. The NF itself is a group of internally selected 9 songs that fight for the right to represent Izmedu in the WorldVision Song Contest. Thus far, the Izmepisma format has proved to be a success, with all three of its entrants to WorldVision securing top 5 finishes, as well as two podium places in the form of Ziva Lipovac and TK Prod ft. Vigora Marasovic.

WorldVision is one of the most popular entertainment programs in Izmedu, with viewership of the more recent WVs attaining average audience shares of about 70%. The contest itself has also caused massive shifts in the Izmeduan music industry, with WorldVision opening the music climate to include more styles inspired by WorldVision, with many of the recent Izmeduan breakout artists emulating those in WorldVision in one form or another. WorldVision entries have also been commercially successful in the Izmeduan charts as well, with numerous WorldVision songs impacting the charts immediately after the contest (WorldVision 40 saw the Izmeduan Top 100 field 27 entries after the contest along with 6 songs charting within the top 10).
