Discrimination of Multiversals in Boldonia

Despite appearing to be a land of tolerance and acceptance, often times Boldonia does not extend this tolerance to certain people from the multiverse. These "Multiversals" as referred to by the general population can sometimes be subject to discrimination depending on how different they are from the status quo.

Human
Human multiversals are protected under the constitution of the Independent Republic of Boldonia. Most humans are "safe" from discrimination so long as they show similarities to the world Boldonia resides in, most notably people from "equivalent" nations who are seen as "normal" by Boldonians. However instead of their nation being referred to by its actual name Boldonians often refer to it using the nation from their universe.

Other humans may not be so lucky however. While still technically protected by the constitution, humans considered by the average Boldonian to be "weird" may be subject to some discrimination. People with unnatural abilities, such as magic or reality bending, may be treated less nicely. Other groups include tribals, people from the far future, people from the far past, and anyone not considered to be "normal" by a Boldonian. Independent studies by third parties show that it is harder for these people to get a visa to travel to Boldonia's universe, are asked more questions by border control, are profiled and stopped more by law enforcement, and it is essentially impossible for them to be allowed to live and work in Boldonia.

Non-Humans
While the Boldonian constitution protects on the basis of "race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender, or sexuality" one thing that is not included is species. Sentient non-humans, which includes everything from anthropomorphic animals to sentient ai, not protected by the Boldonian constitution. In fact the government has even passed an act called the Multiversal Human Security Act which mandates all non-humans in Boldonia's universe to be shot on sight.
