Important Planets in the Imperium

Octavious

Octavious is the Capital of the Imperium and the home planet of the Octavian population. 70% of the planet used to be water allowing for the rise of the Octavian species and large amounts of biodiversity. However, as time went onward artificial islands and bridges began to make up more and more of the landscape was dominated by Octavian-made structures and cities. Currently, the planet resembles an Ecumenopolis with the large majority of the planet now consisting of cities, stores, and commercial megaplexes among other buildings such as The Paramount's Palace and the Mechanator Training Academy. The planet has many defensive armaments made for the explicit purpose of letting the capital stand for as long as possible in case of invasion so that the Octavian high command can find a way out of the mess that they had found themselves in. The planet has a moon and a binary star system with one yellow and one blue star. It has 29 hour days.

Abbada VI

Abbada VI is the home of the Abbadi race which is the second most populous race in the Imperium. It is a large desert world rich in iron and uranium as well as a multitude of other minerals. The world was the first world ever found by Octavians which had alien life and claimed before The Paramountīs rise to power. The planet now serves as one of the main mining worlds of the Imperium as a large majority of its surface is being mined to gain the minerals located on this planet. The planet has 3 moons each being used for yet more mining. It orbits a yellow star.

Hyron

Hyron is the planet in which the Mechanator HQ is located. It is a relatively small forest planet (though large swaths of the forest have since been cut down). The Planet has the Mecha-tower, the nexus of all Mechanator activity across the Imperium and home of the Grand Mechanator, Arm of the Mechanators, and Eyes of the Mechanators. Most on the planet are training for service as civilians aren't allowed on the planet. The Planet is highly defended perhaps only rivaled by the defense on the capital. The Grand Mechanator's Voidscreamer Dreadnought is present on this planet equipped with its massive Ion Cannon. It has no moons and a yellow sun

Zormulo

Zormulo is the largest producer of drones and shells in the Imperium. The formerly artic planet has now, after hundreds of years of exploitation, been reduced to an industrial desert stretching across the entirety of the planet. Close to the Imperial core, Zormulo was once home to a civilization of religiously minded Avians led by their Priest-Lords who believed in the sacred nature of their own planet and the sanctity of their form. It was for these reasons that first contact between technologically equivalent Octavians and the Zormulons ended in an abject disaster for both parties with Imperial attempts to convince the Zormulons to join peacefully ended in the exchange of nuclear arms. The outnumbered Imperial delegation was destroyed while the Zormulon began preparing a defense against what they imagined would be a frightful retaliation from the mechanical devils that had come to defile their world. Not even a month later did that retaliation come with an entire armada of Imperial craft numbering in the thousands coming to chastise the world lead by the Imperial Enforcer Tal'Talen in her Sword of The Imperium come to teach a ghastly lesson to the inhabitants of the world. The tables had now turned from that initial engagement with the Octavians, now it was the Zormulon who were outnumbered, and their defense stations and remaining fleet was dashed away by the sheer force brought to bear by the Imperial invasion force. Without orbital defenses and with no way to prevent the orbital bombardment of their own world Zormulon commanders hunkered down for the rain of death that they knew would follow but they were not prepared for the full extent of what would come. It was three weeks that the surface of Zormulon was bombarded by the full force of the Imperial armada with the surface of the world turned into death zone of nuclear fire and cobalt rain. It was estimated that around 98% of the Zormulon population was killed in the initial bombardment of the surface with almost all of their underground shelters reduced to rubble. With the other 2% projected to follow soon, Imperial ground forces came down and secured the surface allowing Octavian settlers to pour in. It was not long until factories had been set up and with time the planet of Zormulon began the face of Octvian industrial might. Some have said that the resistance of the Zormulon was what made the industrialization of this world such a priority by the Imperial government but there has never been any comment by Imperial leadership on this matter nor will there ever be.

Nilon II

Nilon II is a very large planet as the 5th planet in its solar system. The planet has no oceans and the water it does have can best be compared to a lake. These pockets of water are scattered about the planet and serve as the only locations where greenery and life can exist. When the Octavians arrived at the planet it was mostly barren populated with only some scattered wildlife, a few plants, and large amounts of dirt and stone. Today it has become the largest source of propaganda entertainment and merriment across the Imperium through the actions of a number of business interests and of course the guiding hand of the Octavian government. The planet is filled to the brim with casinos, resorts, VR parks, bio-zoos, and Aether stations. These Aether stations broadcast much of the government-approved Aether transmissions all at least partly spreading pro-government messages. Some of the personalities on these broadcasts are even rumored to be mechanators. The Octavian government has vehemently refused these claims however.

Fanet IV

Fanet IV is by all accounts, a dead planet which under normal circumstances would only be known by locals as the local mining world. In all actuality, the world is among the most important in the Imperium as underneath it's rocky exterior it holds the facility holding The Paramount's many back-up consciousnesses and bodies in the case the original fails for whatever reason. Should The Paramount switch bodies it will be inside the facility, should he die a copy holding his intelligence will be inserted into a body and sent to Octavious as if nothing ever happened. A legion of AI preside over the facility, maintaining the consciousnesses and improving the bodies using data collected from The Paramount's daily activities similar to the production cycle of military drones. Some other research tasks are taken on by this planet, but such tasks are secondary. The facility is heavily guarded, armed with turrets and members of The Paramount's Chosen guarding the area.
