The People's Electorate of Imhlaba is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by Elector Kuwani with a fair hand, and remarkable for its frequent executions, pith helmet sales, and restrictive gun laws. The compassionate, democratic population of 4.088 billion Imhlabans love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Environment, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Wapoto. The average income tax rate is 60.7%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The thriving Imhlaban economy, worth 402 trillion yaos a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is quite specialized, is led by the Tourism industry, with significant contributions from Information Technology, Trout Farming, and Book Publishing. Average income is 98,444 yaos, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Third world countries are rich in "I Love Wapoto" t-shirts, citizens can only enjoy the splendor of the natural world in designated 'Majesty Appreciation' zones, feuilletons can only be deciphered with a Galliennais dictionary, and visiting dignitaries make excuses to leave functions early and head to the nearest pub. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Imhlaba's national animal is the turtle, which frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans.

Imhlaba is ranked 158,819th in the world and 97th in The Western Isles for Highest Unexpected Death Rate, scoring 22.96 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
