Ikherian Parliament (the Federal Representatives Assembly) (General RP mainly) (WIP)
The Federal Representatives Assembly is the bicameral parliament of Ikheria. It is composed by the Federal Representatives Council (the upper house) and the General Representatives Assembly (the lower house). The Federal Representatives Assembly (and its upper and lower house) roles is making laws, together with the executive branch and voting on them, authorizing federal budgets and Five Year Plans, ordering referendums, inaugurating the president-elect, electing and appointing new succeeding president, and impeaching them, oversighting the federal government and its interests (including companies), and many other roles. Each MPs of both house are simultaneously elected under a universal direct federal-wide election on secret ballot, every 5 year with maximum of 25 terms.The Federal Representatives Council, the upper house, is composed of 245 MPs, most which is political party member, representing the states and territory of Ikheria and its peoples and interests. They are elected at state-level constituency, using single non-transferable voting system with combined party and individual (partisan and non-partisan) list.
The General Representatives Assembly, the lower house, is composed of 500 MPs, representing the citizens and its interest directly. They are elected at county-level constituency, using open party list proportional voting system.
