The Armed Republic of Holler Town is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by High Chieftain Carroll X with an iron fist, and renowned for its ubiquitous missile silos, public floggings, and anti-smoking policies. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 1.96 billion Woodland-Raiders are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The medium-sized, corrupt, well-organized government is primarily concerned with Defense, although Administration and Law & Order are also considered important, while International Aid is ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Silva-Barbara. The average income tax rate is 56.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The very strong Woodland-Raider economy, worth 179 trillion Sculls a year, is fairly diversified and dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Beef-Based Agriculture. Black market activity is rampant. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 91,664 Sculls, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.7 times as much as the poorest.

Holler Town's fine wines are renowned throughout the region, the number of children one can have is restricted by law, the mining industry has taken a hit from tighter environmental regulations, and newspapers are running a front-page picture of High Chieftain Carroll X holding a crowbar and standing over a bloodied stockbroker. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force. Holler Town's national animal is the Wompus Cat, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Hoto Woodland Spirituality.

Holler Town is ranked 68,953rd in the world and 1,439th in Lazarus for Most Influential, scoring 164 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
