The Republic of Greater Weimar Republic is a huge, orderly nation, renowned for its ubiquitous missile silos, keen interest in outer space, and stringent health and safety legislation. The cynical population of 448 million Germans are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The large, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Defense. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Weimar. The average income tax rate is 51.8%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The German economy, worth 23.5 trillion Deutsche Marks a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, fairly diversified black market in Automobile Manufacturing, Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Retail. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 52,394 Deutsche Marks, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Children who display even minimal sporting aptitude are immediately assigned a personal trainer, hand-to-hand combat experience is udderly essential for all dairy ranchers, Calvinball players are lost for days as they wander the vast halls of their new academies, and the new foreign policy is "why bother invading neighbours when they can be bought wholesale?". Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Greater Weimar Republic's national animal is the eagle, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Greater Weimar Republic is ranked 135,127th in the world and 222nd in The Western Isles for Highest Wealthy Incomes, with 61,065.56 Standard Monetary Units.
