The Greater German Realm is a colossal nation located in Europe, with many overseas territories.
The German government cannot be exactly pinned down to one type, as it appears to be a mix of several different ideals. For example: there is no court system and everyone is required to own firearms, it is economically capitalist with slavery while also maintaining some degree of income equality, with a massive tax rate of over 90%. It also is heavily run by nuclear power, and nobody may immigrate nor emigrate into the country.
The German economy, worth a remarkable 1,636 trillion Tugriks a year, is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Information Technology and Tourism. Black market activity is rampant. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is an amazing 232,786 Tugriks, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.3 times as much as the poorest.
Freedom and civil rights are a hard to grasp part of the country. Throughout it's history there have been many revisions to the constitution, hampering and raising civil rights and political freedoms over and over again.
With a population of over 7 billion people, the Greater German Realm is one of the most populous countries. The overall life expectancy in Germany at birth is 92.72 years.
Germans are not necessarily the only peoples in the country, notably there are several minorities most prominent of which are "Elbe Slavs", a long-surviving tribe and one of the oldest peoples in the Greater German Realm, sharing common history going back as far as when Germans first settled the area. Their relations with Germans are very good as the state has declared its intention to protect Elbe Slavic history and continue teaching their language as an optional side-subject in schools starting in 8th grade of elementary school.
There are a large amount of major cities across the Greater German Realm, the largest being the capital city, Grand Barlin. The most urban regions are the Ruhr, Brandenburg, and Bavaria.
A census held a few years ago revealed the official state religion, Messerism, to be the country's largest religion with over 89% of the population
identifying themselves as Messerists.
Messerism itself was founded by Hans Landmesser, Joseph Maikowsky's predecessor, that united all the three major religious factions into one.
Messerism is centered on the worship of Messer - the God of the sky, and several other "Gotten" (Gods). Hans Landmesser is considered one of the embodiments of Messer's will, and there are many statues of Hans Landmesser throughout the country commemorating him as the greatest ruler.
In contrast to other religions whose laws and doctrines are derived from a "holy book", Messerism is based on personal relationship with the Gods and spirits and personal experiences, which cannot be fixiated in writings; thus there can be no prophet, holy scripture, place of worship, clergy, dogma, rite and prayers, and thus its believers are encouraged to make their own, to think for themselves.
German is the official and predominant spoken language in Germany.
Recognised native minority languages in Germany are Elbe Slavic, Russian, Polish, Low German, Low Rhenish, and Sorbian; they are officially protected by the state. The most used immigrant languages are Polish, the Balkan languages and Russian. Germans are typically multilingual: 81% of German citizens claim to be able to communicate in at least one foreign language and 38% in at least two.
