The Theocracy of Gorefield is a huge, orderly nation, renowned for its infamous sell-swords, fear of technology, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 293 million Gorefields are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The enormous, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, with Law & Order, Spirituality, and Administration also on the agenda, while International Aid receives no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Jon's house. The average income tax rate is 71.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but sluggish Gorefield economy, worth 9.97 trillion jons a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, quite specialized black market in Arms Manufacturing, Cheese Exports, Uranium Mining, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 34,027 jons, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The last thing Gorefield soldiers hear before charging into battle is a preacher trying to convert them, caps with skulls on them are the height of fashion, drunk drivers are sentenced to death, and Gorefield has designated Jon's house as its capital city. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Gorefield's national animal is the odie.

Gorefield is ranked 82,428th in the world and 97th in Federation of Conservative Nations for Fattest Citizens, with 9.89 Obesity Rate.
