The Jackal Plague

while under the rule of "Pinda the 2nd", a horrible plague swept through wiping out a fifth of the population. It was known as
"The Jackal Plague", the way it earned its name was the crazy part though, being a nation based around Pandas it was only a
matter of time till the sickness was named After the Jackal. Because Jackals are a known predictor of the panda and that's the exact thing it did to people. and let's just say Tom just didn't handle it well.

He tried to fix the situation but it ended worse than he could imagine, what happened was that even though he made a cure it only worked for some and not for others, which ending up having a fifth of the population vulnerable.

You might say he didn't fail but he didn't think that, as a result after that he became obsessed with finding the cure. Sadly there was something researchers didn't find. That he was one of the few that the cure didn't work for. and that the sickness could be dormant and triggered by stress, and as you could guess he was under a crazy amount of stress.

Causing him to sadly pass from the sickness two months after he chose his son as his successor. Almost finishing his term and of course he thought that it was just a punishment from the Grand Panda. for messing up the whole country especially because of the fact that the symptoms showed up a year after the plague had ended.
