Eldenian TerraCom - FT - Mothballed Idea [Archive]
The Eldenian Commonwealth TerraCom branch of the Eldenian TriForce (no, not zelda, there are three branches of the Eldenian forces. Jesus.) is a competent, versatile force tasked with planetary invasion, shipboard defense, and temporary defensive operations. While the smallest branch of the ETF, it is nonetheless the most important, holding vaunted positions of glory and honor with the civilians of the Commonwealth.Standard Infantry: The standard soldier under TerraCom is a versatile trooper meant to engage enemies in all reasonable environments, from the vacuum of space to the dirt and mud of jungles.
Uniform:
Armor
Primary Weapon: Gravity Impeller MkIV - The newest generation of GI weaponry, this portable weapon of mass destruction uses extreme forces of gravity to propel Neutronium shells at enemies with forces equivalent to kilotons of TNT. The smart rounds then detonate once they have pierced their intended target, converting their mass to energy in an instant and turning the target into dispersing plasma. The payload is determined by the amount of Neutronium siphoned from the magazine.
Sidearm: A more tame weapon, the Rocket Pistol MkII "Rocky" is a nasty little sidearm that fires guided microrockets at Mach 5 intended to pierce armor before detonation. Keep away from children.
Spare Gear: Multiple components, ranging from a portable signal booster, to energy shielding, to additional reactor cells
Strengths: Powerful armour and weapons, excellent training, highly resistant to ballistics
Weaknesses: Vulnerable to plasma and laser weaponry

Main Battle Tank: The Arachnid MkIII is the standard MBT of TerraCom, equipped with Tritanium alloy armor, a guided GIMkIV main cannon, and multiple Thunder thermobaric missile launchers. It's powered via a fusion powerplant, and possesses limited thrusters for ease of movement.
Infantry Support vehicle: The Titan MkII is an infantry support mech. Possessing a fusion core and wielding both a MkV laser and a MkI Gravity Impeller, the latter of which is a 12000 round per minute stormfire cannon that fires carbon lattice ammunition.
Armoured Personnel Carrier: None
Self-Propelled Artillery: None, as the MkIII Arachnid fulfills this role
Strengths: Powerful vehicles that are basically rolling weapons of mass destruction
Weaknesses: Extremely few and far between due to their status as specialist units
