The Republic of Eprathusuti is a colossal, orderly nation, ruled by Yonas Zalelew with an iron fist, and renowned for its rum-swilling pirates, barren, inhospitable landscape, and smutty television. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, devout population of 7.453 billion Eprathusutians are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The medium-sized, corrupt government is primarily concerned with Defense, with Spirituality, Education, and Industry also on the agenda, while Social Policy and Welfare aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Wadera. The average income tax rate is 23.0%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The strong Eprathusutian economy, worth 558 trillion Kinas a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, broadly diversified black market in Gambling, Arms Manufacturing, Retail, and Soda Sales. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 74,930 Kinas, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.4 times as much as the poorest.

Surfing lessons include how to ward off sharks, cancer rates amongst the richest in society are inexplicably on the rise, there is a disproportionate number of poor people in prison, and the government encourages conflict abroad to increase arms sales. Crime, especially youth-related, is moderate, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Eprathusuti's national animal is the Warthog, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is Zuwiti.

Eprathusuti is ranked 149,677th in the world and 4th in Viking Europe for Largest Trout Fishing Sector, scoring 225.14 on the Nemo Depletion Efficiency Index.
