The Dominion of Drecha is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by Drecha The Eternal with an iron fist, and remarkable for its ritual sacrifices, free-roaming dinosaurs, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 1.045 billion Drechanians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, with Law & Order, Administration, and Education also on the agenda, while Spirituality receives no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Hive. The average income tax rate is 78.7%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The powerhouse Drechanian economy, worth 125 trillion Space Rocks a year, is quite specialized and mostly made up of the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Uranium Mining, Information Technology, and Woodchip Exports. Black market activity is rampant. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 120,278 Space Rocks, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The nation has declared war on all passing comets, the nationalized auto industry is adept at making durable little cars nobody wants to drive, cute fluffy little Drecha The Eternals are increasingly popular exotic pets, and professionals are ready to retire by the time they receive permission to use their credentials. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Drecha's national animal is the Space Worm, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Drecha is ranked 5,790th in the world and 1st in Puppets of Mountainus for Most Politically Apathetic Citizens, with 60.3 Whatever.
