Dracoism

Dracoism the religion that most Powerians believe in, even most Draconians back in day. Dracoism has a huge impact on the Powerian culture as a whole, affecting what they base their basic believes between good and evil. Dracoism goes back to the early days of Dragons of Power, back when the country was just a small kingdom of a bunch of rejects from the Legion on their views on dragons. They believed in Lumria, the Celestial Dragon, (who is one of many first Gods) as the ultimate Creator.

She was the perfect balance of Good and Evil. In Powerian believe, it is said that she was the one to have created good and evil, and was the perfect balance of both. Lumria in one of her main Dragon Forms, the one that Powerians believe to be her true form, created two dragon Gods, Spiros and Yoru. These two Gods, were her children, with Spiros representing the greater good while his brother, Yoru, represented pure evil.

Spiros the Spirit Dragon:

Spiros went on to create many of the first dragon species, that would soon evolve into dragons today. Spiros then created the first Council of the Great Dragons, with creating the first dragon species of each element, except destruction. He brought life to the world, full of beauty and wonder, creating wonderful life around Galria and other planets.

Yoru of Darkness:

Yoru on the other hand, started to cause chaos on not only on Galria, but other planets as well. He created many of the early destruction dragons as his "minions", to aid him in his quest to have the world cover in darkness. He brought death and destruction to the world, using others as pawns for his ultimate goal.

Yoru brought destruction and darkness to where ever he was, while his brother Spiros brought life and light. Spiros confronted his brother, and with a terrible battle of the two dragons, with every early dragon allying themselves with Spiros to fight off the first breed of destruction dragons. The battle ended with Spiros' death, and Yoru's banishment to the underworld, where Yoru would spend the rest of his life, with what destruction he caused being a reminder of how bad evil is. Spiros then became a Spirit Dragon, with it to be said, that he still helps people to this very day.

This is the base story of Dracoism, with their being many more details and stories. The ideas of the Great Dragon and original categories for dragons were based off of this story, with the believe systems of Powerians for the rest of history, being more of the greater good kind of people in a world of evil. Dragons of Power stood for peace, justice, honor, and family, with there being many different interpretations of these believes, like the Powerian's basing their believes more off of Lumria's "bad" ideals, such as war and honor, with more modern Powerians believing in her "good" believes as such peace and family. In Dracoism, Spiros is seen as a wonderful being, being the kindest of any Dragon God, with Yoru being seen as the demonic Dragon he really is.

The Great Dragon Council:
The Great Dragon Council would become a part of Powerian culture as well, with many forms of the Powerian government being tied to the Dragon Council in some way. Great Dragons, when becoming one, gain the ability to live more than twice their age, being able to grow much larger than their species maybe would. They have a council of six, seven after the addition of the Destruction Dragon. There would be a Council leader, who would be elected by the Council, being the base idea for Powerian Demoracy.

A Great Dragon picks a "apprentice", to carry on their role as a Great Dragon after their death, becoming the next generation of Great Dragons. The idea of a Destruction Great Dragon was introduced much later, and for the role to be the balance keeper instead of causing destruction all the time.

To become a Destruction Great Dragon, is much harder than the others. A dragon must complete a trial. The trial is that the dragon must be able to defeat, not kill, all the current Great Dragons, in battle, along with defeating the current Council Leader at the time as well. If successful, a dragon becomes a Destruction Great Dragon. Only few have been able to do this, with Triple Strike being the most notable of them all.

Great Dragons do not stand with Dragons of Power, but are supported by the nation. The Great Dragon stand for the balance of the world, fulfilling Spiros' role even after death.
