The Colony of Deflation 107 is a massive, orderly nation, notable for its anti-smoking policies, public floggings, and parental licensing program. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 2.528 billion Deflation 107ians are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The medium-sized, corrupt, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Healthcare, and Industry. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 22.4%.

The very strong Deflation 107ian economy, worth 177 trillion banks a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized black market in Arms Manufacturing, Woodchip Exports, Automobile Manufacturing, and Uranium Mining. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 70,244 banks, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 235,753 per year while the poor average 15,532, a ratio of 15.2 to 1.

Deflation 107ian husbands are dead good at fathering kids, spoiler warnings are now given out before political speeches, the statue in the Stromburg Plaza has a solar panel for a hat, and turning the other cheek is accompanied by a polite letter of complaint. Crime is moderate, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Deflation 107's national animal is the card, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Deflation 107 is ranked 14,300th in the world and 83rd in Willow Farm for Largest Manufacturing Sector, scoring 25,597.31 on the Gooback-Jerbs Productivity Index.
