- His Imperial Majesty the Emperor of the Imperial Fatherland, Oswald I
24 March 1918 — 28 May 1930
Emperor Leopold I
Emperor Oswald I
- The Honourable Imperial Chancellor of the Imperial Fatherland, Alfred Haber
Alfred Haber (19 March 1860 (59)) is a German politician and leader of the Kaiserreiches Partei. He was the Imperial Chancellor who served under Leopold I and Oswald I. Labelled a "virulent crusader" of the imperialist foreign policy called Weltpolitiks, Haber single-mindedly devoted his chancellorship into making the Empire the leading power on the world stage. He formed a powerful political coalition made up of other right-wing parties he called The New Order (German: Die Neuordnung) which effectively dominated the Reichstag. Presiding over sustained economic growth, technological advancements and broad social welfare programs, he succeeded in swaying popular support from his rivals to his party.
Haber served faithfully to then Emperor Leopold when he first assumed chancellery. He was partially successful in covering up the full-scale genocide of the Jabanni and T'challaqua peoples in Kaiser-Leopoldsland, going so far as to deny there is an ongoing genocide in one of Germania’s colonies in the Alkebulan continent.
Despite being given orders from the current reigning Emperor to cancel financial support for Group 935 because of the organization’s “highly questionable ethics in recent events”, Haber continues to assist Group 935 and fund their secret projects behind Oswald’s back, intentionally withholding information from his monarch and outright lying to him.
After a complete cessation of hostilities in 1930, Alfred Haber’s chancellorship was challenged.
Born from a modest lower class family living on the outskirts of Kaisersberg, Alfred Haber grew up to be a condescending and proud man. After gaining a better education and significant wealth through his more wealthy uncles and aunties, his self-pride was further exacerbated when he joined politics on the conservative side. And there, he styles himself as the man of the people with the Empire’s "best interests" in his mind. To quote Haber and his personal philosophy simply: “There will be nothing standing in the way to the Fatherland’s glory over the world”.
Despite acquiring power and showing himself off as a pretentious and ambitious man, he is also irritable, disingenuous and unprincipled. Simply put: Alfred Haber is a sociopathic narcissist. He is willing to lie to garner support, to protect Group 935, or to save his own skin. Annoyed to learn that the new Emperor wants to shut down Group 935 for their “highly questionable ethics in recent events”, Haber tried to justify the organization’s questionable actions during the war as part of a series of experiments. Though after much arguing with Oswald, Haber allowed Group 935 to continue their experiments and develop devastating weapons albeit behind the Emperor’s back after lying to his face that he will shut down Group 935. Upon receiving the Emperor’s letter demanding his resignation from office (including another letter which the Emperor knew of his deception), Haber reportedly flew into an emotional outburst.
He was consumed by the bloodthirsty jaws of INESCAPABLE DEATH.
No he wasn’t.
