Cosmology
The Choi universe is divided in three parts: the world of the living beings (Coik yak Bu), the afterlife world (Yit yak Bu) and the sea of the dead (Tou kauk Doul), which the dead must pass in order to arrive at the Yit yak Bu, and that surrounds the other two worlds as a sea surrounds an island.

The Creation
There was only the primeval sea (Wouk yak Tou), where inhabited two primeval beings duck-shaped (Wouk yak Sei yo and Wouk yak Sei yongl). From the union of the two, two gods were born: Tou Yo (god of the dead and the seas) and Coik Yo (god of life). Tou Yo and Coik Yo had a strong antagonism: one wanted to keep the Wouk yak Tou as it was and the other wanted to create the world. They then entered in a battle: Tou Yo won e Coik Yo was submerged. Unintentionally, the effect was the opposite, Coik Yo's corpse gave form to life: from the eyes the two worlds were born, from the hands were born the first humans, and from the feet, the god of light (Yoigc Yo) ant the goddess of darkness (Nye Yongl). Yoigc Yo created the sun and the moon, that would illuminate the two worlds, one at a time. Tou Yo tried to destroy life, but was defeated by Yoigc Yo and Nye Yongl, being transformed into a giant serpent that would be swimming in the You kauk Doul. From Yoigc Yo and Nye Yongl the goddesses of the winds (Fuc Yongl), of the rains (Ta Yongl) and of the fertility (Mag Yongl) were born. Life is ruled by Mag Yongl and the departure of the living to the Tou kauk Doul (death) by Fuc Yongl. From Ta Yongl, other gods were born, who appear to the humans as stars, but the major ones are those that were mentioned. All the gods are considered remote.

Ethics and practice
Ethics is summed as follows: "as long as you aren't harming anyone, do as you wish". The religion is practiced in ceremonies marking life transitions, that are made by monks, who are people who isolate themselves in the temples serving as an ethics example to be followed. Attitudes towards novelties may cause some controversies.
