You know, everytime I try to conjure up a mental image of Swith and Cer in real life, the first thing that pops up is a hulking, scary, bald mafia boss with an eye patch and scar looking at a series of eerie monitors in a dark room while godfather-petting a yipping fennec.

The single minded determination and hatred the regressive left has for western culture is still disturbing to me.
Every incident, at any opportunity, criticism will be redirected at western culture.

The Fennec says:

Ah, America's modern "patriotism". What I see most exhibited is nationalism. Nationalism is different than patriotism.

American patriotism places emphasis upon values rather than a commitment to a nation:

Official American values were laid out in the Declaration of Independence that emphasized human rights, such as declaring that "all men are created equal", that people have "inalienable rights", and that people have the right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness"; American patriotism has also focused on the principles and values of the Constitution of the United States.

But many self-professed "patriots" don't embrace those values. Not really.

"My family has been here a while. I'm not leaving! My fathers and grandfathers served in the military. I come from a line of proud American tradition. I'm a patriot! The only values America needs are protestant Christian. Why the f*ck should we give rights to immigrants? To women? To the downtrodden? If they had worth, they would not have left their country! F*cking learn to speak English. My right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is compromised every time some jackass SJW comes in crying about some offended special snowflake. Make America stronger. Make it a great nation once more!" <- That's nationalist thinking.

Nationalism isn't bad provided it's used for the right reasons. Bear in mind that nationalism is the foundation of fascism. Fascists are nationalists but nationalists are not necessarily fascists.

"'Face the Nation's' 'John Dickerson had the willpower to ignore the President's insults during their conversation in the White House. Luckily, Stephen doesn't have that same constraint"

America's free speech - exhilarating.
