"War Socialism"
Following the revolution, the newly-formed proletarian state experiences a brief civil war. Workers and soldiers are given "social bonds" and promised to be able to redeem them for money or goods at some point in the future.
1950-1960
"Industrialization Period"
The first constitution is written. The government begins a 10-year period of industrial and agricultural modernization.
1960-1990
"Public Market Economy"
The second constitution is written. 5-year plans are introduced. Veterans are now able to exchange their social bonds for money or arable land. A very fine social democracy, eliminating poverty and staying competitive on the global scale.
1990-2000
"Nationalization"
A divisive period in history as it initializes the abolition of private property. The government institutes an increasingly progressive tax and pursues monopoly in (e.g. makes public) an ever-increasing number of sectors.
2000-2012
Central Planning
The third constitution is written. The economy is a mix of monopolistic state firms and a network of cooperatives. 4-year plans are introduced. Labor tickets are introduced with the intent to fully replace money by 2012.
2012-2048 (planned)
"Advanced Socialism"
Labor ticket system is fully implemented. The economy and state are efficiently synchronized. The goal is to slow climate change.
2048-2088 (planned)
Transition to Communism
Red Archipelago is planned to unify by 2048. The focus is predicted to be increasing automation, increasing quality of life, and healing the climate.
2088- (planned)
Communism
The best-case scenario posits that the Red Archipelago could abolish labor tickets and transition to a fully-communist society by this time, but international affairs will likely complicate this.
