The eight tribes of Atkemri (About to undergo MAJOR retconning, WIP)

The Coloshanti tribe
The Coloshanti are the most numerous tribe who lived in the Sahel and parts of the Sahara. They during the mass industrialization of the 1900's responded the best and modernized quickly. They have also had a vocal role in the Tribal council ever since it was founded at the beginning of the country.

The Potata tribe
The Potata are the second most numerous and lived in the deserts. With the building of cities they mass migrated from their desert villages into the cities closer to the coast past the mountain ranges. This journey for most was long and hard. The remaining Potata living in the deserts decided to create the largest city in Atkemri. This city is today Kalosburg named after the 10th president of Atkemri James Kalos who is from the Potata tribe. Unfortunately Kalosburg is not the largest city in Atkemri. But after the 12 battles of Kalosburg in the second Atkemrian civil war the city was ravaged. The city is held in high regard by the Potata.Kalosburg is the 10th largest city in Atkemri.

The Youatal tribe
The Yotatal tribe are the third most numerous and live near the coast. They are the main producer of fish and other agricultural products due to their proximity to the ocean and the Youatal already having large farms before the large costal cities were set up and others could farm.

The Olibawe tribe
The Ombawe live near Cameroon and are well known for the warrior culture they had before their tribe was brought into the Federation and the invention of the sport of pit fighting which is well loved in Atkemri.

The Argen tribe
The Argen tribe is the fifth most populous tribe and lived in the deserts with the Coloshanti. They are known as the average tribe because they haven't done anything significant.But they have invented many things important to life.

The Roder Tribe
The sixth most populous tribe in Atkemri, the Roder tribe live in the mountains. They are known for being very reclusive throughout history. They also technically started the independence war by launching guerilla type raids on the french years before the war began. During the war they supplied the revolutionaries with muskets.

The Ashim tribe
The Ashim are the seventh most populous tribe and live in the desert with the Potata. They have throughout history been assassins and have worshipped the sun who they believe has given life to the planet. But today the religion is all but dead with only a few hundred followers.

The Opal tribe
The Opal tribe are the eighth most populous tribe and live in the mountains. They have rejected all technology and still live in little tribal villages but some have modernized causing a divide in the tribe. Both groups have built a large city encapsulating their beliefs. The modernized faction has made a large modern city called Lestto. The traditional faction has built a town called Scaagwea. This has led to their tribal state having two capitals. The traditional faction still uses spears and bows as weapons
