Brief History:
James was born in Birmingham, England, 1894 to Connor and Elizabeth Quinn with his twin Henry. The family was average and James and Henry had a normal childhood. Upon the outbreak of World War One, the Quinn Twins joined a Pals Battalion and were placed on the front lines of the western front. One day when in the trenched James discovered his first anomaly, an invisible German. Upon managing to kill it he showed Henry the body and together they resolved to go find other unexplainable things after the war. When the war was over they began this quest. They took out a large loan and used it to build a laboratory to study these things after they managed to capture them. On one of their travels, they met Rose Brownings who was interested in the occult as well. She joined them in 1920 and helped them capture anomalies and study them. She and James became romantically involve the following year. Their findings were dismissed by the scientific community and the interest on their unpaid loans rose higher by the day, so Henry suggested that they show off the bodies of anomalies and sell tickets to the rich. James and Rose reluctantly accepted and the AES (Anomaly Exhibition service) was made. Within 5 years the group had managed to pay off most of their debts and had gathered a fledgling group of scientists and occultists to work at capturing and dissecting the anomalies. In 1927 Rose and James married and were planning to open the AES to the general public. The plan was stopped however when an anomaly which was assumed dead came back to life killing many of the customers of the AES and Rose. The event shattered James causing him to close down the AES and solely focusing on hunting down the creature that killed Rose.
By 1930 James had given up the pursuit of the creature and was focused on bringing Rose back to life. In 1930 he and Henry journeyed to Portugal to begin a quest to find anything that could revive Rose. From 1930 to 1936 they traveled around Europe looking for anything that could revive her and hunting anomalies for locals. They stopped to rest in Belgium in 1938 and were caught up in World War 2 in the two years that followed. They were captured by the Wehrmacht and brought to Nazi scientists, who remembered the AES to help them in anomalous research for the war. James and Henry were separated into different research facilities and James was moved to help the German High command with creating resurrection technology. He saw promise in the research and hoping to revive Rose helped willingly. The project failed horribly after one test where a dead French soldier was brought into the chamber and pumped with blood and methamphetamine and repeatedly shocked with high voltages of electricity. Along with that one of the remaining members of the Old Germanic religion chanted for the resurrection of the man. The chamber exploded and James was knocked unconscious. when he woke up he found the dead bodies of many researchers seemingly split apart by some force. While navigating his way out he found a document telling of the concentration camps and what Henry was working on at the time, Supernatural super-weapons. James escaped the facility and began attempting an escape from Germany once he found his brother Henry was being used to make a "Portal to Hell", an idea which was highly inadvisable. James managed to save Henry and began their escape out of Germany into Italy. Upon their arrival in Italy, they managed to hide for the remainder of the war in a small town in the Italian countryside. James still wishing to bring Rose back continued on his quest to attempt her resurrection begrudgingly followed by Henry who at this point wanted t to be done with the affair. They moved their way into Turkey and began traversing the Middle East looking for anything that could revive the still dead Rose. After encountering many anomalous objects and almost losing their lives multiple times Henry finally convinced James to stop his quest to revive Rose. Their journey
