Dance of the Phoenix

Members of the House of Allegrod learn a secret technique known as the Dance of the Phoenix. This technique was created due to members of the House of Allegrod possessing extremely powerful Fire Magic. The Dance of the Phoenix is a traditional technique that is taught to all members that come of age (reaching 13 years old). The steps are kept on a scroll that is hidden in the House by sealing magic, until someone who knows how to undo the seal can open it.

The Dance of the Phoenix is based on two main types of attacks: Overwhelming your enemy with fierce and quick kicking attacks, and also powerful double punches with both fists. This prevents your enemy from mounting any effective counter attacks because the technique forces them to always be on the defensive side in the fight. The Dance of the Phoenix was originally created by Dyfores Allegrodo, the founder of the House of Allegrod. Dyfores also used Lightning Magic with Fire Magic to keep his enemies off guard and to always give him the advantage. However, due to the constant wars Dyfores fought in, he decided to create a scroll and seal it away. It wasn't until decades later, when a member of the House finally recovered it.

Since it's recovery, the Dance of the Phoenix has become the signature technique of the Allegrodo family. Their prowess with it lead to most countries adapting some form of the technique into their own.
