Timeline of Major Events (OLD VERSION)

12,000BCE - Earliest archaeological evidence for human habitation in the area of Arkdunham.
3,000BCE - Approximate founding of the Krean Empire, in the area now known as Arkdunham.
2,100BCE - By this point, the Krean Empire dominates large parts of the western portion of the conitnent of Shambhala.
1150BCE - The bronze age collapse: numerous factors lead to the collapse of the Krean Empire, as well as many other bronze-age civilisations.
700BCE - Some Orthodox Rhapsodist communities emerge with the onset of the Rhapsodist Diaspora, but these people groups are largely expelled and persecuted.
600BCE - Founding of the kingdoms of Arkwich - around the Krean Empire's previous capital of Relyeh, and of Dunham, neighbouring it. This is widely seen as a continuation of Krean culture.
224BCE - Tribes from the neighbouring mountainous regions of Draculae and Romaire invade the kingdoms.
220BCE - An unknown crisis racks the area. Numerous relics of the Krean Empire are denounced as heretical and destroyed, and very little archeological evidence survives of the Krean Empire today as a result.
1CE - By this point, the isolated kingdon is trading as far as Nelmezzo.
50CE - The Yellow King period: The Romaire are betrayed by Draculian king, who makes common cause with the Krean peoples. ArkdunhAm emerges as a single kingdom, comprising of Arkwich and Dunham, as well as Druclae - referred to by Arkdunhamians as Dracule, and Romaire, referred to by Arkdunhamians as Romero. This is the beginning of the Romairite Diaspora. Many surviving Romairites make common cause with the oppressed Orthodox Rhaposdists, converting to their religion, and creating a unique branch of Arkdunhamian Orthodox Rhapsodism.
76CE - The region of Salem is incorporated into the growing Kingdom of ArkdunhAm.
187CE - With the utter collapse of Nelmezzo, and the loss of stability in Western Shambhala that followed, ArkdunhAm enters a period of contraction.
700CE - Arrival of Nelmezzoan Rhapsodism in the region. The King of ArkdunhAm converts and many follow.
850CE - Nations from the region of Fjordagen colonise much of the land surrounding ArkdunhAm.
900CE - Following years of skirmishes, several armies from Fjordagen conquer ArkdunhAm, placing a Nordic king on the throne. Krean culture is once again repressed. Cults of the esoteric Krean religions which are forced underground for their grotesque beliefs, in favour of Nelmezzoan Rhapsodism.
990CE - A new school of Nelmezzoan thought erupts in ArkdunhAm. This is a thinly disguised front for the Cult of Dagon, a remnant from the Krean Period. "The Dagonic Heresy" sweeps westward.
1,000CE - After almost a decade, the Dagonic Heresy is finally crushed.
1,230CE - The rapid expension of Outer khanua subsumes ArkdunhAm, ending the dynesty from Fjordagen.
1,256CE - Fracturing of Outer khanua. ArkdunhAm becomes a client state of the Western Khanate.
1,420CE - After a long period of stabilty folowed by another long period of destabilisation, the Western Khanate falls, leaving ArkdunhAm, Batkovia, and Fianna-Gal (Now The peoples republic of fingal) in its place.
1,560CE - The Arkdunhamian Inquisition is founded in reaction to the formulation of The Reformed Rhapsodistic Church. This is largely used as an instrument to further persecute the minority Romairite Peoples.
1,572CE - Fearing the spread of The Reformed Rhapsodistic Church to its old enemy, Fjordagen, ArkdunhAm joins Abelardy and Plataland in the war on The Ostreich (Modern-day Weimarstein), in order to staunch the spread of the new religion.
1,917CE - Communist revolution in The peoples republic of fingal spills over into ArkdunhAm, and the king is deposed.
1,918CE - ArkdunhAm is forced to join The Great War, with the attack of The New bavarian order.
1,920CE - After millions of loses, The Great War ends, with no tangible gain to ArkdunhAm.
1,950CE - A monarchist coup instates King Nyarlathotep IV, although very little changes, with the country remaining an authoritarian police state.
1,951CE - Purportedly in an effort to reduce foreign influence, the Church of Arkdunham is founded in order to replace Nelmezzoan Rhapsodism.
1,952CE - At the behest of the Secret Police, access to the entire county of Laogaoi is prohibited except for official personnel.
1,979CE - A disaster in County Romero leaves travel to the county banned.
1,980CE - Present Day.
