Carriers
1. Anagonia-Class Strike Carrier (SCV-01/CVSN-01)
Anagonian-designed and Manufactured Model

Confederate Navy Overview:
The Anagonia-Class Strike Carrier was the crowning achievement of the United Republic Navy. Completely designed and constructed surrounding the Forrestal-class of carriers, the Anagonia-Class was intended to represent the will and power of the United Republic Navy throughout the world. Having fought in several World Wars and international conflicts, it is amazing that not a single one of the Strike Carriers was to be lost; the exception being USS Independence during the Greatest World War, suffering a massive bow missile impact that nearly sank her and resulted in her early decommissioning into a museum ship. Several other carriers within the Anagonia-class were to be almost as severely damaged, but none after the Independence were to have such an extensive loss of structural integrity and life - and still float.

Serving with distinction, a total of seven Anagonia-class Strike Carriers were constructed. The names and fates of those ships are listed below:

Decommissioned:
SCV-01 USS Lexington (Decommissioned into Museum Ship, 1 AUR)
SCV-02 USS Anagonia (Decommissioned into Museum Ship, 1 AUR)
SCV-05 USS Independence (Decommissioned for scrap following catastrophic damage in the events of the Greatest World War, 8 BCS; Recovered and Reconfigured into Floating War Memorial, 1 AUR)

Sold:
SCV-03 USS Drekamythia (Sold to the Imperial Empire of Drekamythia in 1 AUR; redesignated Imperial Majesties Ship Drekamythia same year)
SCV-04 USS Nodea Rudav (Sold to the Soviet Union of Nodea Rudav in 1 AUR; redesignated Union Sea Ship Nodea Rudav same year)

Resignated:
CVSN-06 CSS Olympia (Redesignated, Reclassified original name in 1 AUR; still in active service)
CVSN-07 CSS Freedom (Redesignated, Reclassified original name in 1 AUR; still in active service)

Following the fall of the United Republic, the Confederate States Navy operated and maintained all six operating Strike Carriers until it was realized that the funds necessary to maintain such a fleet were impossible to acquire at the time. The SCV-03 and SCV-04 were sold to the Imperial Empire of Drekamythia and the Soviet Union of Nodea Rudav respectively, gaining the necessary funds to properly decommission SCV-01 and SCV-02 into museum ships and still have a balance acceptable enough to restore and refit SCV-06 and SCV-07. The Confederate States Navy plans to continue to operate the two remaining, actively serving Anagonia-class Strike Carriers until the Boxer-class replacement initiative can be fulfilled.

It is important to note that the only two remaining Strike Carriers were not only redesignated, but also reclassified to CVSN-01 class for Strike Carrier Nuclear, to comply with method of classification for the Confederate Navy.

2. Boxer-Class Light Carrier (CVL)
Purchased Model

Overview(Original):
When in a situation where a Fleet Carrier is considered overkill, but requires airpower, there’s only one thing that can scratch that itch, a Light Aircraft Carrier. To fulfill this need, Hypersphere Technologies has developed the Boxer-Class CVL. Having been in service for several years now in the Belkan Kaiserliche Marine, the Boxer is a capable warship with enough firepower to tackle a small fleet on its own.

The air wing for the Boxer can vary, but due to the size of the elevators, the planes are limited in size to smaller aircraft such as the Harrier & Hornet with the E-2 as the largest it’ll hold. While for regular carriers this would be a fatal flaw, the Boxer is a light carrier and Harriers & Hornet-size aircraft are just what was envisioned being operated from her decks. But the air wing isn’t the only bit of offensive hardware at the Boxer’s disposal. Mounted just behind the Island is a 36 cell Mk. 41 Strike-length VLS, capable of holding any missiles that’ll fit in the VLS system. The standard payload with in the Belkan Kaiserliche Marine is 8 Fasthawks, 8 VLS Harpoons, & 36 ESSM for defense. Supporting the ESSMs is a Phalanx Bk. II mount on top of the bridge and a SeaRAM just past the Mk. 41 VLS.

Among the many sensors on board the Boxer is the prominent radar mast. Based on the Thales APAR X-Band radar, the Hoffnung Technologies designed Camelot Radar Mast is an improvement to the APAR as its effective range has been increased from 150 km to 225 km. Mounted on top of the Camelot Mast is another product from Hoffnung, the LIGHT-M VLR S-Band Radar meant to detect any incoming aircraft long before it reached the Carrier, up to 400km out.

Confederate Navy Overview:
Originally intended to fill a slated "light carrier" role, the Boxer-class Light Carrier was given a promotion following that role being taken up by the newly-minted Lexington-class Battlecarriers, and the decommissioning and/or selling of most of the Anagonia-Class Strike Carriers. The true value of the Boxer-class Light Carrier is its amazing capability to be easily rearmed and refitting for mission-critical specifications. Various flight configurations exist within the Confederate Navy to fill the necessary roles, up to and including maritime patrol and coastal protection. Versatile and well worth the cost, the Confederate Navy has no intentions of decommissioning any Boxer-class Light Carrier in the near future.

A total of six Boxer-class Light Carriers were purchased, having served with distinction during the Greatest World War. An additional four were constructed after the fall of the United Republic. The names of these ships and their fates are as follows:

Battleships
1. Confederacy-class Fast Battleship (BBGN-861)
Anagonian-designed and Manufactured Model

The Confederacy-class Fast Battleship is the result of decades of research and development into a battleship design to replace the aging Iowa-class battleships within the Confederate Navy. With the Iowa-class refurbishing program underway during the time of the Lexington-Class refits and reconstructions, the Confederate States Navy needed a more modern, more viable replacement to serve the nation for decades more. The resulting conclusion was the Confederacy-class Fast Battleship, designated BBGN-701 for BattleBoat Guided Nuclear Seven-hundred and One final.

This design is reminiscent of the Lexington-class in construction, with the exception of the VTOL platform. All of the Confederacy-class Fast Battleships, with the exception of BBGN-861 CSS Confederacy, are named in honor of a state in the Confederate States.

2. Lexington-Class Battleship Carrier (BBCVGN-761)
Purchased Custom-Designed Model

Overview(Original)
During Marine landings on foreign soil, the Armed Forces found that they lacked a platform that could both deliver devastating damage and carry forward a small expeditionary force capable of dealing with Police Actions. So the Confederacy commissioned the Imperial Royal Shipyards to design and construct a platform capable of delivering the desired results. After a lengthy process, the Lexington-Class Battleship Carrier was soon completed.

Designed and created by Dewhurst-Narculis engineers, it was modified to have the rear of ship be a carrier VTOL deck for launching VTOL fighter craft and helicopters. The middle and fore are totally reminiscent of the Iowa-class Battleship which has served the Confederate Marines well during their times. Missile launchers complete the picture making the Lexington-Class an extremely capable fighting machine.

The design of the Lexington-class is made to assist in shipyards through the tedious and often long-duration process of refitting older model vessels. With an ample supply of Iowa-class Battleships, the majority of the Lexington-classes within the fleet are completely updated and refitted Iowa-class superstructures. Only a few Lexington-Class Battleship Carriers are intended to be constructed from the ground up, completely new.

The Lexington-Class Battleship Carriers designation is BBCVGN; Battleship Carrier Guided missile Nuclear ship Six-Hundred and Seventy-One final.

Confederate States Navy Overview:
The Lexington-Class Battleship Carriers, more commonly referred to as "Battlecarriers", were one of the few designs of ships specifically catered to the growing needs of the Confederate Navy. Designed with the intention to replace the LHD-1 Wasp Class Amphibious Assault Ships and provide ground force operational support for the Confederate States Marine Corps, the Lexington-class is unique in that most ships in the class are recycled from the older hulls of Iowa-class Battleships and scrap-metal from LHD-1 Wasp class assault ships, ensuring the continued service and naval tradition by recycling decommissioned vessels. Only a few of the Lexington-class were keel-laid brand new.

Recycled, Refit:
BBCVGN-761 CSS Enterprise (Refit/Reconstruction from the Iowa-class hull USS Northwestern 5 AUR; Completed 8 AUR; still in active service)
BBCVGN-762 CSS Odyssey (Refit/Reconstruction from the Iowa-class hull USS Gulf 5 AUR; Completed 8 AUR; still in active service)

Super Battleships
1. North Carolina-Class (BBGN)
Purchased Model

Overview(Original):
After the Fletcher-Class FFG was designed and construction started, a proposal was put further by the team of engineers who developed the Fletcher. Called the Stealth Fleet Initiative, design and built a series of ships based on the general design of the Zumwalt & Fletcher classes to create all the ships needed to form an All Stealth Fleet. To fill the Battleship role, the North Carolina-Class Nuclear-powered Guided Missile Battleship was created.

Like the other ships in the Stealth Fleet Initiative, the North Carolina-Class was named after a famous WWII Era Class Leader of the same type of ship, in this case, the Battleship North Carolina. When it became time for the SFI Committee to name the ship, 4 names were put forth; Iowa, Montana, South Dakota, & North Carolina. The first two names were struck almost immediately due to both ships still being in service with navies around the world. As for the last two, the committee was divided to the point that a coin toss was used to choose the name, Heads for NorCar & Tails for SouDak. Needless to say, the coin landed on Heads.

Her design is that of a Trimaran, a main hull with 2 outrigger hulls that hold the secondaries and extra aviation fuel for the helicopters that operate off the North Carolina. The Trimaran design was chosen due to it being a very stable gun platform and the speed increase that comes with the design. To cut down on costs, the North Carolina-Class shares many features with its smaller cousin in the Stealth Fleet Initiative, the Alaska-Class Cruiser. Among these are its power plant, sonar package, and the biggest of all, the Deck House with all the radars.

While she doesn’t have the number of guns that her namesake has, the North Carolina’s 8 16” guns fire several different types of shells & rounds which puts this modern ship ahead of her older incarnation. The standard shell fired from her is a product out of Birkaine, a Scramjet Assisted Armor Piercing High Explosive (SJ-APHE) Shell.
Image

Other shells fired are bomblet dispensing shell, a Sabot round utilizing a Base Sabot and a 8” ERGM, and the normal High Explosive shell. To compliment the North Carolina’s big guns is 14 5” secondary guns based on the AGS & the Mk. 45 Mod 4. Using the mount of the AGS as a base, it was fitted to the proven Mk. 45 Mod 4 gun and its below deck autoloader. In addition to the gun of the North Carolina are 208 Strike-Length VLS Cells mounted on the sides of the helicopter landing pad. To defend the North Carolina are 5 25mm Linebacker CIWS & ESSMs from the Mk. 57 PVLS.

Confederate States Navy Overview:
The United Republic Navy purchased six North Carolina-class Battleships before the Greatest World War, in a plan to counter the super-massive battleships in place in the Gothic region as a whole. Only a few years after hostilities started, two of these ships would be utterly destroyed by Freekian super-dreadnaughts, with the remainder having been severely damaged or destroyed defending the coastline of Anagonia from the invading Gothic forces or not being able to participate in the hostilities at all. With dwindling resources and funds at its disposal during its inception, the infant Confederate States Navy originally mothballed the remaining ships and began to scrap several in the process. One, however, was saved by order of Tiberius Samsus.

This lone ship would go on to serve the Navy as a museum ship, to be reactivated only upon a national emergency or order of the President.

Submarines
1. Voleur Class Nuclear Attack Submarine (SSN)
Export Version

Overview(Original):
The Voleur class is Yanitaria's newest nuclear attack submarine, and is slated to replace the current, aging fleet of Shchucka-B's.

Not much is known about the Voleur class, except what the Yanitarian government has released, and several rumours circulated over the internet that may or may not have any validity. It is also not known in what numbers they have been produced, or if they have even been put into production yet. However, recent activity in the Okhotsk submarine ship yards suggests that production is in full swing.

A leaked government report suggests that the Voleur Class is extremely quiet, and much harder to track than the older submarines serving with the Yanitarian Royal Navy. It is unknown what armament the Voleur class carries.

It is known that the Voleur Class, if put into production, will only be sold to the closest allies of Yanitaria.

Confederate Navy Overview:
Having had, at one time, a close relation with the nation of Yanitaria, the United Republic had taken advantage of those relations to acquire a few Voleur-class submarines to replace aging Los Angeles-class submarines the United Republic Navy. With the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Confederate States, the Confederate States Navy continues to utilize these submarines and maintains them according - reportedly even building a few new Voleur-class submarines, but this is unconfirmed.
