Technologies of Amos-Nuraka


Amos-Nuraka and the overall world's nanobot technology is EXTREMELY primitive, although there have been great strides in clinical use for personal nanobots. In industrial use, there was the Vava Disaster which was an early prototype which went badly. The Vava Disaster is planned to be vaporized in a nearby antimatter detonation within the next 20 years. Nanobots have and are being used to mine mercury out for resources, and are used in the 2 nanobot facilities, AmMet-1 and AmMet-2, owned by Anipali. These nanobot mining operations are stationed in Rustaveli Crater, and have bored down 6 kilometers into Mercury's surface.

Space Travel

All space travel is pre-ftl, although many laser probes have reached as much as 50% of the speed of light. All intra-sol travel only reaches around 1% of lightspeed. Amos-Nuraka has an extensive military fleet in space also, capable of bombing cities and using early direct energy weapons on the planet's surface.

Direct Energy Weapons

The Amos-Nurakan DEW's are in early phases of use, however the early space prototypes are capable of blowing up cars and heating up terrain significantly. DEW technologies are also used to engrave tattoos, used in some small-scale hologram projections, and used in decorations.

Direct Substance Transfer (DST)

Direct Substance Transfer is an experimental type of energy and matter transfer at 100% efficiency. It uses 2 quantum-entangled particles and moves them through an intense magnetic field, similar to that of a neutron star. Then, any kind of energy or matter can be transferred with full efficiency between these 2 points. This is a classified and heavily experimental technology. It has been shown to work with large amounts of energy and small amounts, with it being able to transfer 163 Kelvins of heat and 1 human hair from one vacuum to another, without loss. This can possibly be used for space travel, as near-c probes can be sent out to distant star systems, set up "tethers" and transfer a seemingly infinite amount of energy and matter across them instantaneously. These have been dubbed "hyperlanes" by the scientific community open to the technology.

Afasorite (Ale-Fanan Rocks)

Afasorite, a compound used in the Ale-Fana Oasis to absorb salt and redistribute it, is porous enough to allow other substances to pass through it. In early tests, a thin sheet of Afasorite was layed down, and a 300 mL of water was poured onto it. It absorbed it like a sponge and redistributed it across itself almost evenly, allowing for its further use in space exploration. A compact version made from Afasorite being moved through an intense neutron bath reorganizes itself into Perfect Afasorite, also called Afasoritem. Afasoritem passes the previous test perfectly. This Afasoritem is used as an insulating agent on probes against cosmic rays, on space stations as automatic water dispersers to absorb cosmic rays, and as mold agents to replicate the hexagonal porous stucture of Afasoritem. Afasorite is only found in some remote regions of the world and in Ale-Fana from still-unknown natural processes, but more has been found in the Delta asteroid elt around Oņo, suggesting a violent past.
