R9 “Apex” Rifle
The R9 “Apex” Rifle is the first clean-sheet Alexzonyan service rifle design to receive serious Starfleet consideration in several decades. Based on lessons learned in the (inconsistent) production of the highly capable but complex and costly R7 rifle, the R9 is an inexpensive, lightweight weapons system intended to compete directly with the Aumanii Ak.67A5 “Moland” and the Peninsularian T.443. The R9, like the R7, retains its compact bullpup configuration. The electronic fire control system is significantly simplified compared to other recent Alexzonyan designs; the magazine feed system is cross-compatible with the Ak.67A5, and like the A5 Moland the Apex is optimized for use with the 5x35mm Universal-TAADA projectile. The R-9 is the first Alexzonyan service weapon since the early versions of the R-5 to feature a bayonet mount; largely considered a defunct accessory in Starfleet circles, the lug was deemed necessary to make the Apex competitive on the export market and maintain the weapon’s compatibility with the infantry doctrines of other SATMA nations. As currently configured, the Apex has three variants: the Apex SAW is a heavy-barreled variant intended for sustained automatic suppressive fire, the Apex DMR is an accurized extended-barrel variant for designated marksmen, and the Apex Carbine is a further cut-down variant intended for use by tankers and rear-echelon personnel as a personal defensive weapon. In later development, the R9 rifle floated above its originally targeted price point due to the addition of a smart gun prediction and tracking similar to that developed for the R10 Perihelion project; the R9 was then promptly ordered into full production without further revision.

R10 Perihelion Infantry Weapon System
The R-10 Perihelion is a standalone small arms program spun off from the Apex Project as the divergence of the needs of Starfleet and the goals of the R-9 project became apparent. While the R-9 attempted to compete with the lower-cost Moland and T.443s, the increasing desire among officers in the Starfleet Weapons Design Partnership was for a more sophisticated and capable weapons platform. Where the R-9 is the design based on proven principles, mass accessibility, and straightforward engineering, the R-10 is a more ambitious design.

A bullpup like the R-9 but chambered in the harder-hitting 5x50mm Telrosian Hypervelocity, the R-10 is significantly longer and heavier than the R-9, with a heavy barrel and coil accelerator system intended for extended automatic fire. The ammunition feed and magazine mount is not compatible with the R-9/Moland magazine system, but instead uses a magazine and feed system taken from the Scorpion Assault Weapon. Using large horizontal magazines, the R-10 is capable of sustaining extended bursts of cyclic automatic fire; with 5x50mm Hypervelocity slugs the R-10 can also serve as a dangerous marksman weapon. The rate of fire is adjustable, and is buzzsaw-like at its limits (though usually kept lower). The weapon features numerous firing modes: semi-automatic, 5 round burst, and fully automatic with an adjustable fire rate. Like the R-9, the R-10 is outfitted with a bayonet lug, with an eye to the export market.

The R-10 is equipped with an integrated smart optic system, which features a high-zoom optical lens and is synced with other components and inputs into the rifle to project firing paths and expected dispersion with a given set of ammunition and power settings. This optic can also sync with the MIDAS II armor’s Gunlink system, allowing precise firing from behind cover and use of the optic and projected firing paths and dispersions even without shouldering the rifle or aligning the optic with the eye; this connect is established using a receiver in the gloves of the MIDAS 2 armor and a very low-powered RFID in the grip of the rifle with a connection range measured in inches; the system syncs automatically when the rifle is picked up.

The R-10 also has swappable mounting points left or right for a modular offset 40mm grenade launcher, which has an integrated in-line tube magazine that holds several grenades for either semi-automatic or burst fire and will also integrate with the smart optic to provide trajectory, dispersion, and expected blast radius information for a given grenade loadout.

R7 "Stargazer" Assault Coilgun
The R7 Rifle is a bullpup-configuration select-fire coilgun with a 6mm bore. The standard magazine includes an integrated power unit to operate the rifle’s magnetic firing systems, and holds 45 rounds. The standard ammunition for the R7 is a 6mm saboted penetrator dart; this hyper-velocity projectile is optimized for armor penetration and excels in that capacity. The dart is a unique nano-engineered product that dynamically responds to the characteristics of targets that it strikes; against hard armor or barriers, it stiffens and serves as a conventional sabot. In soft tissue, however, it warps and fragments, greatly increasing its wounding potential relative to a conventional sabot penetrator. The rifle itself uses a 35cm barrel and magnetic coil integrated firing assembly, encased in a durable and shock-resistant polymer frame. The resulting weapons system weighs 2.1 kilograms unloaded. The firing system is entirely electronic; the trigger weight is a simulated mechanical system, which defaults to a single-stage configuration with a break weight of 1.8kg. Both the staging and weight can be optionally set as user-adjustable. The R7 is equipped with a modular attachment system for mounting optics and other equipment. The R7 rifle is most often equipped with a 1x-8x variable-zoom digital optic.

R8 "Moland" Coil Carbine
The Ak.67A5 Moland Carbine is a variation on the famous Aumanii coilgun, a lightweight and reliable weapon system that can be used in any environment, from the vacuum of space to harsh, humid jungles and sand-choked deserts. The A5 variant is optimized for use with the 5x35mm TAHDA ammunition, an Alexzonyan domestic variant on the 5mm Telrosian family. Designed to accept high capacity magazines with an integrated power source for the weapon, magazines come in 30, 60, 120, 240 and 600 round capacities. The Moland Carbine has a 6mm diameter barrel. This theoretically allows for any ferrous projectile up to a safe recommended limit of 5.6mm to be fired from the weapon. A select fire weapon that can be used in semiautomatic, three round burst and fully automatic modes, the Moland also comes with a subsonic firing mode, which makes it completely silent when fired. However, the reduced muzzle velocity also reduces the amount of damage done to the targets soft tissues and deletes any armor penetration capabilities.

R5v3 "Guardian" Assault Coilgun
The R5 Coilgun is a venerable rifle dating back to the GRA's original arrival in NS-1. The first all-magnetic (rather than chemically propelled, coil-assisted) rifle in the Alexzonyan arsenal, the R5v3 is the most recent modernization of the rifle, which is still in use with the Civil Defense Corps. and with some second line units. As the first true coilgun in Alexzonyan service, some decisions were made in the design that have not been repeated. In particular, the battery packs are stored and metered separately from the magazines. Velocity (and thus, power consumption per-shot) is user-adjustable, albeit using a tool. Under maximum power draw, the R5A3 matches the velocity of the new R7 rifle when using 6mm AHAP ammunition, which the rifles share compatibility with. However, such a draw will deplete the battery in between 30 and 40 shots, depending on external conditions. Conversely, at minimum power, the battery will last nearly 200 rounds. The R5v3 is not magazine compatible with the newer R7, and instead uses a 30-round magazine without an integrated power pack. Thus, the battery needs to be swapped out between every magazine and every 6+ magazines, depending. While the battery is easily accessible and latches and unlatches from its mounting bracket without undue fuss (after an early redesign), the separation of the magazine and battery system generally complicates the operation and logistics of the rifle. With the introduction and widespread availability of the much more modern R8 Moland Carbine design, the R5 has finally been withdrawn from service with the GRA military and has been stockpiled as inactive reserves.

The Kitten Grenade Launcher is a modified Alexzonyan approximation of the Huerdaen 40mm "Puppy" Universal Launcher. A 40mm launcher approximately the size of a large pistol or flaregun, the G1 is universally issued to Alexzonyan Marines. As with its Huerdaen inspiration, the G1 is capable of firing any one of numerous 40mm grenade types of both Alexzonyan and Huerdaen manufacture. Equipped with a SmartWeapon system capable of showing the currently loaded grenade type and expected trajectory on a soldier's MWS 1.1 compatible HUD, the G1 is marginally larger, heavier, and more expensive than its Huerdaen counterpart.

AC-5v1 Infantry Autocannon
The AC-5v1 is a dual-purpose weapon intended for use against heavy infantry or light vehicles. With a 15mm bore, the AC-5v1 is capable of utilizing a variety of ammunition types, including APDS, fragmenting-anti-personnel, incendiary, and laser-guided-seeking-gyrojet. The integrated magazine + power system holds 120 rounds of a single or mixed types. The AC-5v1 includes a modular attachment system for mounting optics and other equipment. The system weights 22.6 kilograms unloaded. The barrel and accelerator unit is 20 inches long. The AC-5v1 mounts an integrated bipod to stabilize it during firing.

S1 Personal Defense Weapon
The last production variation of the S1 PDW, the S1v3 is a select-fire ultralight coilgun designed for simplicity of operation and personnel protection. Equipped with a 9mm Bore, the S1 fires a hybrid slug with a fragmenting outer shell but a solid composite core. While lacking the armor-piercing capability of the hypervelocity 6mm AHAP or 5mm TAHDA, the 9mm ASDR slug has strong wounding capabilities against soft targets; despite the solid penetrator core, the 9mm ASDR struggles against modern infantry armor due to the relatively low velocities at which it is fired. The S1v3 is equipped with a forward vertical grip to control recoil and steady the weapon, and a compact foldingrear stock to brace against the body or shoulder. The weapon comes equipped with an unmagnified parallax-free reflex optic. As doctrine has changed, the Marine Corps has increasing issued 5mm carbines to its rear echelon active duty forces; the S1v3 has been almost entirely withdraw from service as a result. However, a new standard for the S1v4 has recently been deployed, which rechambers the venerable weapon to the 5x25mm Telrosian Incendiary cartridge originally designed for use in the Rethan Hellfire SMG. In this S1v4 configuration the weapon is deployed in a similar role to the Hellfire, arming GRA Civil Defense troops and reserve or paramilitary forces when a compact weapon, extremely lightweight weapon is advantageous.

Infantry Shortbow II (IS2)
The Infantry Shortbow II is a multipurpose manportable missile system. Optimized for use against armored vehicles, the IS2 is also capable at short-range anti-atmospheric work, though with a limited chase range. Equipped with a tandem-charge fusion warhead, the IS2 is based loosely on the Fenvarian M20 "Doubletap" missile system and so fires from a two-missile magazine that allows for immediate follow-up shots or rapid double-fires. Compared to the M20, the IS2 is a heavier missile system, with a longer effective range. Unlike the IS3Rv7 that preceded it, the IS2 does not have a magnetic "recoiless" soft-launch assembly built into the launcher.

Infantry Shortbow Recoilless Rocket Rifle Version 7 (IS3Rv7)
The Almara Industrial Infantry Shortbow Recoilless Rocket Rifle Version 7 (IS3Rv7) is a multi-purpose man-portable missile system. The unique reusable recoil-compensated rail-launch system provides a soft-launch of the projectile. For targets at short range, this may be sufficient to bring the warhead into contact, where a tandem-charge microfusion warhead will make short work of enemy vehicles or defensive emplacements. For targets at a longer distance or true indirect fire, the rocket motor on the projectile will engage and seek out the target specified by the targeting unit on the launch module. Equipped with a seeker on the warhead, the IS3Rv7 has full ‘fire-and-forget’ capabilities. The multispectrum targeting module on the IS3Rv7 is very capable, and the system can track and engage both surface and airborne targets.

Marine Infantry Deployment Armor System II (MIDAS 2)
The MIDAS II is a major overhaul of the MIDAS system, compatible with the new SATMA Modular Warrior System standards. The MIDAS II system is a departure from the general trend in MIDAS I v5 through v7 of increasing weight and protectiveness, instead reemphasizing mobility. The MWS underlayer used is a graphene-backed soft full-sealable environmental suit with a power-assisted endoskeleton. The basic MWS protective plates are augmented with a medium-grade add-on armor kit developed jointly with the Aumanii Army and a reactive energy shield system. The backplate of the armor is fitted for a high-mobility thruster system, developed from the system used in the Fenvarian Mk. VI armor but increased in power to account for the added weight of the MIDAS II. The helmet of the MIDAS II features multi-spectrum communications and sensors systems in accordance with the MWS standards and is also a joint development with the Aumanii, resulting in the MIDAS II and the armor used by the Aumanii armor being nearly indistinguishable to a layperson but for the thruster pack, coloration, and external nationality adornments.

The AEGIS system is an lightweight armor system reworked to be compatible with the standards set by the SATMA Modular Warrior System initiative . The armor panels are multi-layered protective systems consisting of a flexible polymer outer shell, a pair of graphene anti-penetration/anti-fragmentation panels, and a layer of particle-protective/thermal-ablative fixed gel. Designed for mobility and freedom-of-action, the AEGIS system is not rated for the same level of protectiveness as the MIDAS 2, but retains similar mobility characteristics due to the integrated thruster system. Unlike the MIDAS 2, the underlayer used for AEGIS does not include a powered endoskeleton, and so it is not suitable for use with the AC-5 Infantry Autocannon or other equivalent weapons.

Marine Infantry Deployment Armor System I (MIDAS 1)
The MIDAS is a power-assisted armor system deployed by the GRA Marine Corps. as their frontline battle armor. A unitary powered carapace with armor attached to the outer shell, the MIDAS contains a significant power assist that allows for high mobility and greatly improved load-bearing capabilities relative to unpowered armor. The weight and encumbrance of the MIDAS is such that it is difficult to manage without the power assist function engage. Moderately protective, the MIDAS suit features multiple layers of particle-protective/thermal ablative gel layers sandwiched between graphene sheets and ductile alloy panels for defense against penetration and fragmentation together with a reaction energy shield projector that serves as a first line of defense against incoming enemy fire. The previous v7 standard predates the creation of SATMA's MWS compatibility standards; armor updated to the v8 standard is identical except it has HUD and communications protocols compliant with MWS 1.0 and the smart weapon link system is upgraded to MWS 1.1 standards; the armor plating and other accessory mounts remain MWS-noncompliant.

Next Generation Advanced Networked Modular Warrior System Program
The NGANMWS Program (shorthanded as MWS in Alexzonya for brevity) is a cooperative program between Auman, the GRA, the CFP, and Fenvaria (with limited technological assistance from the Phoenix Domain) to create a new standardized infantry armor system. Due to significant variation in national doctrines, the MWS program is more a set of interoperability standards as a singular armor system. The specific capabilities of each armor component for a given “slot” will vary significantly per national requirements, but the MWS standards ensure that all systems are “plug and play” in nature. This ensures that components manufactured in one nation will also be compatible with armor from another. The most barebones MWS-compatible armor system consists of a generic suit underlayer, an outer layer of light-grade protective plates, and a head-mounted multi-purpose system with multi-spectrum sensor feeds and integrated SATMA-standardized communication capabilities. Beyond this basic setup, different nations incorporate different add-on kits, including but not limited to:
