The Imperium of 2100 is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by Madame Theodora with an iron fist, and remarkable for its flagrant waste-dumping, free-roaming dinosaurs, and infamous sell-swords. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 3.758 billion peasants are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The medium-sized, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, with Law & Order, Industry, and Administration also on the agenda, while Welfare and International Aid are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Theo City. The average income tax rate is 85.5%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient peasant economy, worth a remarkable 1,400 trillion Yen a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched, broadly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Retail, Uranium Mining, and Soda Sales. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an amazing 372,576 Yen, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

One-man canoes fitted with the latest tracking technology leave no room for one man, newborns are being raised as mindless killing machines, the working classes live and die on the fields of the farming communes, and ship captains always order a return to port at the slightest sign of rain. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. 2100's national animal is the Dragon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution, and its national religion is Deism.

2100 is ranked 661st in the world and 1st in The Kodiak Republic for Largest Pizza Delivery Sector, scoring 13,655.22 on the Pepperoni Propulsion Productivity Index.
