It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Welfare and Public Transport receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Vizern. The average income tax rate is 61%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Arms Manufacturing, and Soda Sales industries.

Scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway, waste is frequently shipped to other countries, major cities are suffering under water rationing, and l RP l has been known to threaten dissenting citizens with a machine gun at press conferences. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Voltronica's national animal is the Electric Eelgle, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Zaap.
