Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 11.029 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Taledon. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Coco the Clown has been elected to the nation's parliament, organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, parents are held criminally responsible for their children's crimes, and same-sex marriages are increasingly common. Crime is a serious problem. Taledonia's national animal is the wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the dollar.

Taledonia is ranked 27th in the region and 53,228th in the world for Most Godforsaken.
