It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Public Transport. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Spynho. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Information Technology and Tourism.

Students in Seerfir's schools rarely attend their classes, an increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents, the mining industry is making inroads into environmentally sensitive areas, and crime is on the rise as DNA sampling has been all but outlawed. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Seerfir's national animal is the thorny devil, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the alicorn.
