In any case, Salmond has won, and so has SNP. Salmond was forced to take the stance of Yes which he didn't really want - he wanted Devo Max more.

And anyway, the exodus of Labour voters means that the Labour base in Scotland will be shifted to SNP (which I presume some said Nay - not surprising since they might be richer SNP voters). Labour also had the hard stance of being in a rock and a hard place - having to go with No and looking like betraying their constituencies - which Miliband's little act with Cameron looked a lot like.

What he heck david just cause you don't like a nation doesn't mean you can burn their flag, that is just a jerk thing to do. Just because it means noting to you doesn't mean it means nothing to other people. I am atheist but Im not going to burn bibles because I disagree with religion.

Of course it does, if you buy a flag or a bible and you want to burn it, go right ahead. It's your money and your flag / bible.
I can't think of a single reason why anybody else should care what you do with them except possibly pollution or fire safety issues.

Sheesh do you people have no sense of respect? Burning a nation's flag is basically saying "f*** this nation and everything it represents". spending money just to get pleasure out of desecration of a national identity is not mentally sound. You're basically an uncivilized barbarian. Sure it's legal in the us but that's only because we don't wantto seem like hypocrites with our 1st amendment. Even those who do are usually shunned by the rest of society.
