Hehehe... back in 10th grade, i had someone try to find Iraq in class. He pointed at Hawaii...
Wow just because I don't know about every single backwater country in the world makes me bad a geography?
Maybe because Mozambique has basically zero historical, economical, scientific, geopolitical significance and is on the opposite side of the world. If you go to a random European/Asian and tell them to point out Montana on the map, I'll bet they'll get it wrong. Maybe if they did something important like participate in a world war, invent something worth while, create an empire, have a large population, something actually influential to history then they might be worth remembering.
Sorry if I offended you, but I've seen many Americans that are really bad at geography, and you're just reinforcing the stereotype.
Hewwo! *fizzles onto everyone*
We are stereotyped as terrible geographers? I'm a little disappointed in my world stereotype...... What other stereotypes do Americans get??? Anything actually cool?
Uhmmm....... What did you do, exactly? I hope it's nothing gross......
Fizzles! You know, like carbonation in sodas?
Oh..... That makes me all sticky!!!! UGH, NUUUUUU!!!!!!!
I knew where Mozambique was in Africa. I was thinking it was by Mauritania. I thought it was where Mali is, but I guess it's by Malawi and not even close to Mauritania. Africa's geography is difficult.

The blue and white Saint Andrews cross is Scotland's national flag, but they also have a 'Royal Standard of Scotland' of yellow and red. It has a red Lion Rampant in the center.

And if Scotland votes for independence, the blue will probably be taken from the UK flag...leaving a red asterisk on a white field XD
More like they'll just revert back to the red cross on white background. Or, if they go classic, the red background with a bunch of lions. ;)
Bloody hell, Thembria please stop spamming us with your puppets :/
Thembria? Nope, not a Vandoosan puppet! Try again!
You are too late..
Yes! I have a friend in Portugal (Who really hates Americans for their ignorance BTW) I told him I thought Portugal was somewhere near China... They stopped talking to me for the rest of that day... Hell I can't remember all the states either.. I will never see them so why care where they are on a map?
Hate to agree with you.. But yea.. We generally are very bad at geography.. and spelling.. From what I remember we only learn about American stuff in school.. (Though I might not have made it far enough to know for sure) Now you all know I am a drop out (Had good reason though! Not a druggy or anything) I has an excuse for being a baka.. those who make it through school better at least know where all the states are!
You know me.. so you must be an Iwaku nation!
Oh and pechuga de pollo a la plancha is the DEVIL! I hate making that stuff...
hello everyone. the ballots are in and the counting is going on. hope a yes comes out for Scotland.
That gives me an idea of how to enrage folks from Scotland! "Hey can you point out Scotland on a Map?" "YEA! That is easy It's a province of England ain't it? Or was it a town in Ireland...I forget"

Well, there is Macau, an ex-Portuguese colony near Hong Kong. IIRC, they were under Portugal's domain until 1999 when they gave it to China.
I thought it was an Island chain that was invaded by the Spanish or something.. So I was sorta right.. just not quite.. Portugese looks similar to Spanish..
The Phillipines?
Power is out in my apartment :(
Yea something like that..
time for candles?
I just read the news. All polls indicate/predict the Nos would win. Even Microsoft,s Bing predicts that result. =\
