Sternberg simply does not have the population space or capacity to take in refugees and any pandemic released within our underground cities would spread like wildfire. On the other hand, shutting the borders down while sending medical professionals in can contain the spread of the disease while the medics go about their work - hopefully curing the entirety of the neighboring population.

Your aid workers, truck drivers and doctors you sent may come back infected...do you let them back? Your border guards are afraid! Panic is taking over

Well, it would make sense that everyone who goes inside the infected nation also gets inoculated before they come back out. Otherwise disease would just continue to spread.

Easy question. Flatten the country with bombs and move in. Any reason is a reason to acquire more land!

World of Tanks
Ok, my 2 cents on this. World of Tanks is a fun game , but you will feel like smashing your monitor occasionally when sh**ty teammates manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The matchmaker isn't exactly perfect . It does balance the no. of tiers in each match (like say you'll have 3 light tanks , 4 mediums, 3 heavies and 2 artillery per side) , but tank quality between each nation varies. So , if you're up against a team which has mostly Russian tanks, it's mostly GG unless your team knows how to exploit the Russian armor.

A phenomenon in WoT which leads to instant defeat is the "lemming train" , where all your teammates move on one side of the map, leaving you exposed to attacks from the opposite flank - unless the opposing team does the same, which leads to a hilarious war of attrition. Overall, World of Tanks is a fun game , just be ready for the usual toxic mix of players that come with any online game. Play the game according to your tank's strengths and you'll be fine.

Warthunder

This game...this game could have been good. But but..the idiot devs f***ing killed it with stupid updates that totally wrecked the research tree. It has an arcade and historical flight mode (full realistic, comparable to flight sims). However, the nations are inbalanced slightly imo. The British get really OP tier II planes (the Hurricane with around 8 Machine guns) while a German pilot might get an aircraft with just 2 MGs and 1 cannon. There are other instances like this which can make combat unfair. The real problem lies in the research tree. Previously, all you had to do was spend hard earned cash on researching different upgrades for your aircraft. The devs then decided "Lol ,let's just troll them and make it a lot harder so they'll be forced to use real money" - and introduced this new research tree.

Under the new system, you first have to choose which Upgrade you'd like to research next. Then, you'll have to fly battles (in that same aircraft) gaining experience points which would then contribute towards the research of the upgrade you selected. This can be insane because gaining experience points is slow (compared to cash) and some upgrades require a sh*tload of them. Now, you're probably thinking that the pain ends when you've earned enough experience to finally upgrade that Engine? Wrong , after this...you actually have to pay with credits earned from missions to install it. Some upgrades on aircraft require you to pay with "Eagles" (the game's premium currency) which wasn't present prior to the research tree update.

Moving on to "Ground Forces" in Warthunder - don't even try it. Tanks handle like drift cars , and they can't even knock down trees (you actually take damage from hitting a tree. WoT players will be very surprised). The maps are spaced so far out that it devolves in to a camping fest. Tanks have no hitpoints, so a 1 shot kill is easily possible. Stick to World of Tanks on this.

Thanks, Titania. Glad to see that my fears about War Thunder weren't unfounded. Still, sounds like WoT might have some balancing issues of its own, given what you mentioned about the Soviet armour.

So, any thoughts on my new flag? I wanted to have a more complicated design - maybe with a par of crossed swords behind the bird of prey - but the editor is too simple (would only allow one emblem at a time) and my initial attempts to edit the two emblems in on a pixel by pixel basis were disasters.

The flag is lovely , but the "Sternberg" in the middle is unnecessary , takes away from the look of the flag imo.

Also, all Soviet tanks aren't necessarily overpowered. Yes, they are heavily armored and they have big guns , but they're also slow and the guns are inaccurate. So , all you need to do is shoot the tracks off, and then watch as the others pound the helpless tank. I've only played the German , Russian , French and US tanks - here's my opinion on them:

Russian - Heavily armored , powerful but inaccurate guns with high reload times , below average engines.

US - Great turret armour (possibly best in the game) but weak lower body armour. US tanks are designed to fight in hull-down positions (where only turret is visible) and spread havoc. They have pretty good engines too.

Germans - Best snipers in the game , extremely accurate guns (so accurate, you can aim for the driver ports and commander hatches to exploit weakpoints in the armour). Average armour on turrets and bodies though. They also have the heaviest and best armoured tank in the game - the Maus.

French - Extremely fast tanks (the ELC AMX is a racecar) , not very armored but their guns are powerful.

Ah, good point - was kinda iffy on that. Adding a new version now.

Cheers. Might look into British/Commonwealth tanks to start with if/once I get into WoT.

"Whoa, whoa," says noted accountant May Anderson. "Are these people serious? The last thing I want to see when I'm out for a coffee is some lumbering, over-weight nudist coming down the sidewalk toward me. If people want to get naked, they can do it in the privacy of their own homes. Think of the children!"

This is the position your government is preparing to adopt.

Why is there no option to send anyone born naked to prison... Thembrians are always covered is pretty ruffles and bows! Even at birth!

Phew, finished one of my pixel-by-pixel conversions for my nation's flag. It isn't to great, but, it should be a bit more impressive now.

I am sooo sleeeepy... *falls on the floor and bounces a few times before falling asleep*

How about bomb them...with cure missiles! I stil think I have a few left over from z day. But I wpuld perhapse do all of the above. Save what I can, destroy the rest. Except if it's neko lolis then I'll send hazmat teams.

1 get bathtubs with soap

2 toss nekos in and scrub

3 keep an eye out for drumori, least he take more lolis and infect them with ebola

4Reward survivors with cake

Wouldn't that kind of backfire? I hear nekos aren't too exactly acclimatized to water and might bolt at the first opportunity. :D

Really?

Post self-deleted by Akemi homura.

I'd rather some kind of combination of options 1 & 2.

That's a nice looking pic! What do you think of the cute Goddess I posted earlier?

There is no recognized cure for ebola. Terminal illnesses that are similar must be dealt this way. If there is nothing you can do to make the sick healthy again then steps must be taken to ensure the saftey of those unafflicted therefore, you must either quarantine them till they expire or purge the sickness with extreme prejudice

Gargh! Where did you come from? :D
